The apartment is on the ground floor of a respectfully renovated building dating back several centuries. There is a bedroom with en suite bathroom and living-room/dining/kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances including : oven/hob/grill, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, washer/dryer, wifi, flat screen TV / DVD & Google Chromecast (for watching Neflix or You tube videos on TV) .
You will find the old town, shops, restaurants, antiques fairs, waterways and cafés within a couple of minutes walk of the property.
Spend a leisurely afternoon browsing one of the many galleries L'isle Sur La Sorgue is famous for, or, for a more active holiday, the region offers a wealth of things to do including: cycling, hiking and kayaking.
Just a short drive away are the pretty hill-top villages of the Luberon, where visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and you can unwind with a glass of wine in one of the medieval squares.
You can also visit the lavender fields and famous villages such as Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon and Lacoste. The cities of Avignon, Aix en Provence and Saint Rémy de Provence are a short drive away and you can also enjoy a day out at one of the famous vineyards of the Cotes du Rhone.
The town is easily accessible on foot but car parking is available for free directly opposite the property on the other side of the river.

The property is about 20 minutes from Avignon Caumont Airport by car.
This unique apartment overlooks the beautiful river Sorgue, framed by charming waterwheels, which the town is famed for. The over-sized windows and high ceilings give a bright, loft-style feel to the apartment.
This lovely ground-floor studio apartment is situated on the 'quiet' side of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue overlooking the water. It's a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants, but a quiet haven to return to in the evening. Parking is hassle-free, with parking available outside the front door or in a parking lot across the street. The apartment is clean, modern and very well equipped. The glass partition between the bedroom and living areas keeps the whole apartment nice and bright while still giving the areas a sense of separation. Communication with the owners was good and check-in/out was trouble free. A perfect little apartment for two. Highly recommend.
