It's a house where you can quietly enjoy unique moments provided by the surrounding environment with all the comfort and security. "Leahouse 'is a house possessing a pleasant surroundings of green spaces where you can enjoy a different exposure. Surprise yourself with the nature of the Laurel, heritage site (UNESCO) and considered one of the seven natural wonders of Portugal, which will see varied species of flora and fauna of Madeira, unique in the world. Surely you will not be indifferent to all the beauty that the island of Madeira and Porto Santo has for its visitors.

The Parish of Joy is one of the most picturesque of the island, located 600 meters above sea level in Calheta on the southwest coast of Madeira Island. As the name implies, the site offers many charms its visitors with mild climate and with a good average temperatures. Your view is breathtaking, with seemingly distant places, in perfect combination with the ocean, exclusive meeting point between the earth and the sea. The Pleasures include some walking as taken from Ribeiro de Inês, Ribeira do Batel and Ribeira Spine, taken Prazeres, Ponta do Pargo, Prazeres, Calheta, among others, worthy to go. Due to climatic conditions with mild temperatures, little harsh winters and hot summers, agriculture is the main livelihood of most of the population. Road links are provided by a road that connects to the Sea Garden and the Via Express that connects to Prazeres Calheta.

Great villa, quiet location, definitely need a car

Booked the villa for a week in October, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Villa was great, nice and peaceful, spacious & very clean and tidy, large garage and off road parking.

For us it worked well as we used it as a base and spent all day out and about visiting different parts of the island.

Prazeres being away from the coast and nearer the mountains is quiet, we didn't spend any time in Prazeres itself (it's a small quiet village) as it's a short drive to Calheta and other places along the coast. We also took several drives up into the mountains which are close by and stunning.

Very very good holiday home

This house comes highly recommended by other families - please read the other comments very carefully, they are all true.

We had a great time and would like to thank the Caires family for a very nice and spacious accomodation. Whenever we return to Madeira - we promise to return to Leahouse.

Perfekt ausgestattet, gepflegt und gut gelegen.

Das Ferienhaus ist perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben es ausgewählt, weil wir gerne selbst im Urlaub kochen. Vor allem die Küche ist prima ausgestattet, insbesondere weil es eine Spülmaschine gibt. Den Außenbereich haben wir sehr genossen, ob zum verweilen oder grillen, einfach schön. Super praktisch ist die Garage, man kann direkt auf das Grundstück fahren und muss die Sachen nicht weit tragen. Von hier aus kann man die ganze Insel sehr gut erkunden. Einige Wanderwege kann man bequem vom Ferienhaus aus erreichen.

Vielen Dank an die Vermieter, es war sehr schön bei Euch.

Die Kontakaufnahme war völlig unproblematisch und auf unsere Fragen haben wir immer zeitnah Antworten bekommen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen hoffentlich wieder!

Großes und gepflegtes Haus. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wie schon in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben , können auch wir alles bestätigen

bzw. ist zutreffend.

Eigentümer reagiert schnell auf Anfragen , und reserviert auch erst einmal bis man die Flüge gebucht hat.Großes Lob an Catia und ihren Mann für die schnelle und unkomplizierte Betreuung.

Wir sind in 2 Wochen 1300 km gefahren und haben für uns festgestellt das man hier in Prazeres sehr ruhig wohnt und einen optimalen Ausgangspunkt für Rundreisen hat.

Der große Supermarkt in Chaleta ( 7 km entfernt ) ist gut sortiert und hat eine riesige preiswerte Auswahl an Obst das man dann in dem vorhandenen Standmixer in der Küche Vitamine pur zubereiten kann.Ebenfalls sind die kleinen Restaurants im Ort zu empfehlen

Rurais , Chico und die Pizzeria.

Liebe Familie Caires, wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt in diesem schönen Ferienhaus! Vielen Dank für erholsame 2 Urlaubswochen!

Sehr empfehlenswert. Kommen gerne mal wieder

Die Beschreibung des Hauses ist zutreffend. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und geräumig. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt. Wir haben besonders den Außenbereich zu den Mahlzeiten genossen. Auch die ruhige Lage dieses kleinen Ortes verspricht eine gute Erholung. Wir hatten zwei tolle Wochen dort verbringen dürfen.
