Good location in Hastings. Not 100% sure about the four stars.

I talked to local people and they confirmed that rental prices in August are crazy.

That's how it is. But it bothers me a little that HomeAway does not allow for any cancellation of or amendment to the agreement once the button has been clicked. I was alone during my five-days stay in the apartment, originally the agreement was intended for three people. I know I had been informed about the booking conditions, only I will prefer using mainstream booking sites for that reason in the future. Finally, the owner needs to beware of the amount of weed smoked by co-habitants in the house, the smell was quite strong in the afternoon, and every day. To me thats not a dream holiday homeaway.

Mooi en centraal gelegen appartement

  • 4 of 5

Perfect spot for a family staycation.

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was exactly as described, a great size for 3 adult couples and a wonderful view out to sea. There was everything needed for a short stay (in case you forget anything!) the kitchen is really well equipped for cooking at home and sitting around the dining table for meals. The terrace was wonderful to spend a sunny afternoon on with a G&T. Everything was clean and the shower had good pressure.

Location was great - easy 10min walk from Hastings station, and walking distance into the New Town, Old Town and right by the Pier. The promenade is on the doorstep and lovely for an early morning run. Great location for passing the day exploring and the evenings at a local bar or restaurant. We had a great pizza takeaway one evening (the weather turned and we were lazy to go out) from Oregano Leaf Pizza.

Lisa met us on arrival, gave us some tips (fish & chips @ the Dolphin and gelato from Di Polas) and showed us around the apartment, also answered any questions we had during our stay really quickly.

We'd definitely recommend Lisa's apartment for a relaxed stay in Hastings.

perfect stay for a holiday in Sussex!

  • 5 of 5

The appartment is perfect; very clean and everything you need. The beds are comfortable. We felt immediately at home. Lisa, thank you for your warm welcome! Ofcourse the view is stunning! We were lucky the new pier had opened, perfect place to have lunch or coffee! There are so many things to do and see that we probably have to come back! Going up the east hill with the lift and walking there was great! And even with 4 teenagers the adventure golf was a lot of fun!

Stunning coastal appartment

  • 5 of 5

This beach front appartment was everything we wanted and more. The apartment was beautiful with a lovely surprise balcony. Lisa the owner couldn't have done more for us with lots of special touches. It is 10 mins walk into town and on the sea front. Would definitely return too.

Great family stay in Hastings

  • 5 of 5

very nice apartment, we felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute of our stay, great view, especially from the awesome rooftop terrace, very well equipped kitchen, bedrooms offer a lot of space, somewhat narrow stairs were not a problem for us at all, but might be for other people
