Recently renovated farmhouse and barn. This farmhouse is situated in a traditional Savoyard hamlet just minutes from the three Valleys ski area and has been renovated with great care and attention to a very high standard.
Originally a large three storey farm building with a small house attached to the front, the building had a stable at the lowest level, a barn at the mid-level and a hayloft at the top. It has been converted into a spacious and comfortable family home with five bedrooms (all en-suite), a large living and dining area with wood burning stove and a modern kitchen with separate utility room. All rooms have underfloor heating. There is also a large mezzanine area with a small selection of pilates equipment.
The house is accessed at ground level, leading into an impressive vaulted entrance and ski kit storage area with wooden bench seats which lift up to reveal boot storage. The underfloor heating extends under the benches to provide boot drying. The backs of the benches fold down for storage of gloves, hats etc. On this level there are two twin bedrooms, each with en-suite shower, washbasin and WC.

The mid-level, which is a large open plan living and dining area, kitchen, utility room and guest WC. Full height sliding glass doors and a south-facing balcony run along the length of this floor overlooking the decked garden and the wildflower meadow which slopes down from the parking area.
The living and dining space is arranged as an area for relaxing with four settees and three ottomans round a low level “barn door” table and facing the wood burning stove. An “entertainment wall” at one end of this area has a large flat-screen TV, a Freesat satellite receiver and a blu ray player with “home cinema” speakers. There is also an Ipod dock and Internet Radio. The other end of this room has a large French walnut table comfortably seating eight to ten but which, with the addition of extra leaves can seat twelve plus.
The modern kitchen has an island unit housing a large French range cooker and deep-drawer utensil storage all under granite worktops which also provide a small breakfast bar. Along the wall there is a run of kitchen units with a sink, a Bosch dishwasher and a Samsung American fridge freezer with ice and filtered water dispensers. Off the kitchen is a separate utility room with storage cupboards, double sink, Miele washer dryer and microwave.

A large mezzanine gallery overlooking the dining area which is currently used as an exercise area. On this level there are three bedrooms. Two twin bedrooms each with its own WC, washbasin and shower and a large master bedroom with bath, shower, washbasin and WC. All of these bedrooms have exposed beams and large triangular “barn” windows.
On the balcony there is a small table and two chairs - (extra chairs in the entrance hall) from where guests can enjoy the view south over the village .
The garden, which is planted as a wild flower meadow, slopes down from the private parking area to a large decked area with an outside table and chairs (stored in the entrance hall).
There is private parking for 3 large or 4 small cars plus public parking in the village.
Bed linen and towels are provided and beds are made up for your arrival.

2. Through HD Ski & Management we can arrange one of two options:
1. Daily delivery of delicious pre-prepared evening meals for you to re-heat on your return from skiing. This daily delivery can also include breakfast.
2. A private chef who will come to the house and will prepare and serve high end restaurant level dining to you (and clear up afterwards).
