This special 2 bed apartment is located in a self-contained position within the grounds of a typical Spanish holiday villa and has an amazingly large terrace with sea views, its own sun beds, patio for relaxing in the shade, traditional outdoor BBQ with table and seating and exclusive use of the private swimming pool. The apartment is licensed by the Junta de Andalucia under Licence Number VFT/MA/02129 for holiday rentals and meets all of the legal requirements under current legislation in Spain.

The villa is just a 5 minute walk to the beach and excellent restaurants along a pretty country path, yet the apartment offers a world away from the hustle and bustle of the Costa del Sol whilst still being within a very short drive or bus ride from the main tourist towns of Fuengirola and La Cala.

The apartment is fully equipped and has English television including all of the BBC and ITV channels. Air conditioning is provided and fiber optic internet access is available on a pay as you use basis, if required.

El Faro is best known locally for its iconic lighthouse and the soft golden sands of the beach are broken here and there with rock pools that draw children of all nationalities with nets and buckets and the desire to catch the biggest crab possible, making it an excellent option for lazy days in the sun. If you are feeling more energetic there are water parks, a zoo, safari parks, boat and fishing trips, golf courses, a myriad of water sports activities, amusement parks and much much more within a short drive.

Bath towels, hand towels and linen included. Property cleaned on arrival.

This private and self contained apartment is in the grounds of our own beautiful Spanish villa that we have owned for some years and is loved and enjoyed by ourselves and our family. Now we have decided to let guests share our home in the sun to experience Spanish life in the most beautiful part of the coast of Andalucia.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is situated in the Mijas Costa which we think is the most attractive part of the Costa del Sol both for places to visit and things to do. Surrounding the apartment El Faro is a pleasure to explore with supermarkets, excellent restaurants and bars all within easy reach by foot. The beach has soft sands, interesting rock pools and safe surf, making it an excellent option for a lazy day in the sun. In the evening you can either dine al fresco on the open terrace with stunning views under the stars or take a short drive or bus ride to the bustling towns of La Cala and Fuengirola both of which have a diverse melting pot of cultures with restaurants offering cuisine from almost every corner of the globe.
