Perfect for two couples, a family of 4, or a quiet, romantic getaway for two. This 3-level townhouse features an open living area with wood stove, cathedral ceilings with fans, a fully-equipped kitchen, LCD HDTV with cable, wireless internet access, blu-ray/DVD/CD players, gas grill, washer/dryer and a variety of movies, books, and games.

The upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed and the downstairs bedroom has a king-sized bed which can be converted to two extra-long twin beds upon request. TVs in both bedrooms.

All bedding, towels and basic paper goods are provided.

Your stay also includes membership in the Village Swim and Tennis Club at the Village of Loon Family Resort, offering two outdoor pools, two indoor pools, four Jacuzzis (one outdoors), sauna, exercise and game room, tennis courts. Plus winter shuttle bus service to mountain.

Get more for your money! Just bring food for the fridge (or shop downtown). We have everything else you need. This is a really nice place for two couples or a small family at affordable rates. You can be quite comfortable, save on restaurant bills by using the kitchen, and enjoy everything the White Mountain area has to offer.

We built family memories in the White Mountains with our four children and extended family for many years. When we had the opportunity to buy our own place, we were thrilled. Now we are building memories with our grandchildren too.

What makes this townhome unique

This particular townhome (which we call The Whaleback Inn) has a lovely view of the Loon Mountain ski slopes. It's also an end unit on a wooded corner which makes the deck feel quite private. Rather than decorating solely for rental use, we decided to strive for the comfort level we desire for our own family. We feel at home as soon as we walk through the door and hope you will too.

We all totally enjoyed our stay at the Whaleback Inn. As our hosts, you anticipated all our needs. The view of the Loon Mountain gondolas was gorgeous. I got my gardening fix, tending to and cooking with the herbs growing in the container garden on the deck. We drank our coffee each morning with the hummingbirds at 'Hummingbird Corner' on the deck. We loved it so much, I had to go home and buy two feeders for our deck. We felt so comfortable at the townhouse, that we spent more time there cooking in and enjoying our "home away from home" than we have ever done on a vacation. We would not hesitate to recommend your place to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Truly Fantastic

We recently stayed at this condo and it was absolutely amazing. It is in a perfect location centrally located in the White Mountains whether you are there to hike or ski. The kitchen is fully stocked with wonderful pots, pans, etc. so you can easily make lovely meals and stay in for the evening. The deck was very nice in the evening to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. We especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds in the morning and evening out the living room windows. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms and baths were separated to give privacy to each area, for two couples it is perfect. The place is very well taken care of, neat and tidy. We will definitely be back again someday. Thank you for sharing your place with us, we loved it!!!

This is our third time staying at the "Whaleback Inn" and we have loved it every time. The owners provide every possible convenience and the care they put into the property is evident. It is wonderful to have a relaxing place to come back to after a day exploring the White Mountains.

In the heart of the White Mountains, we are located about 2 hours north of Boston, just off Interstate 93, directly across from Loon Mountain. The natural beauty of the area offers hiking trails, glacial caves, river and lake swimming, waterfalls, and wildlife, while the town of Lincoln offers good restaurants, a cinema, summer theater, moose tours, zip lining, kayak and bike rentals, and shopping. Area attractions include: Clarks Trading Post (with bear show), Hobo Railroad, Hobo Hills Adventure (mini-) Golf, Whales Tale Water Park, Lost River, Loon Mountain Park and Gondola Ride, Six Gun City, Santa's Village, Franconia Notch, Cannon Mountain Tramway and across the scenic Kancamagus Highway, Storyland and outlet shopping at North Conway.
