4 Bed 3 bath townhouse overlooking gardens and pool, close to sandy Arenal beach

Casa Petirrojos ( Valencia Tourist Registration number VT-446565-A Cat E) is a light, airy, spacious high quality townhouse, south facing, on a secure gated community. ideally located between the beautiful, sandy beach and restaurants of the Arenal and the port of Javea. From June to the end of September there are lovely little beach bars within a few minutes walk. The property comprises a master bedroom on the top floor with king sized bed, en-suite shower room, aircon. and juliette balcony overlooking the gardens and pool. The middle floor has a double bedroom with shaded private terrace, twin bedroom overlooking the gardens with a/c and a shared family bathroom with shower and twin hand basins. The ground floor has a double bedroom with full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dining area with feature fireplace and a large spacious lounge equipped with Freesat TV, Spanish TDT digital television, DVD player and wireless internet. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes. All rooms have remote controlled fans. There is gas fired underfloor central heating throughout. Patio doors lead from the lounge onto a covered terrace with steps leading down to a further outdoor hedged and gated terrace with table and chairs for alfresco dining. The terrace looks out onto the landscaped gardens and the two swimming pools. Four sunbeds are also available for sunbathing by the pool in the pretty gardens.

Why Geoff Robins chose Javea, Moraira and Denia Area

We have owned various properties in Javea for the last 15 years. Apart from the, mostly, beautiful weather, beaches and sea there is such a huge variety of things to see and do in the area from experiencing the local fiestas and festivals of Javea, of which there are many throughout the year, to the full on intensity of the theme parks and clubs in Benidorm, the lovely old culture of the cities of Alicante and Valencia and the beautiful countryside in the mountains behind Javea with the mountain town of Guadalest, the caves at Benidoleig and the waterfalls at the Fuente S'algar. We have been coming to Javea for over twenty years and have never been bored!!

What makes this house unique

Casa Petirrojos is located in one of the Altamar gated communities. These are located in one of the nicest and quietest areas of the Arenal. The townhouse is one of the largest on the community and only one of three that has a south facing aspect over the beautiful communal gardens and swimming pool. The property catches the sun all day long but, if things get too hot, there is a lovely cool terrace to escape to on the other side of the property. The ground floor terrace leads out onto the secure garden area with two swimming pools, one a good pool for adults to swim in and the other one perfect for children to paddle in. Both pools can easily be viewed from the top terrace so you have peace of mind when the children are playing

Beautiful property

Fantastic house!!

We are a family of 4 with 2 young children so wanted to have lots of space and good access to the pool.....This property was perfect! It gave the children lots of room to play indoors and also after a day at the beach we could come back and sit by the childrens pool and let them play for hours!

Both the property and the grounds were spotless and the house was in very good condition.

It's a 10-15 minute walk to Arenal and 10 mins to Javea port and there are lots of different, pretty ways to walk to both.

One thing that would be great for next time would be a folder with recommendations of restaurants/take aways/info on the little train etc. Just little handy hints for people if they haven't visited the area before (apologies if this is actually there and we missed it!!)

A quality property in a lovely complex.

Altamar 1 House

I rented Geoff's house for some friends as I also have a property on the same development.

The house is a good size 4 bedroom with air conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms.

My friends who stayed there had a fabulous time and any problems (small ones) were

dealt with swiftly and communication with the owner is good at all times.

The house has Wifi and Sat TV so the kids were happy , it is also in walking distance of the

beach and a whole host of shops and restaurants of every variety.

I would have no hesitation in reccomending this house to anybody.

Excellent holiday in lovely, spacious villa

This was our second holiday in fabulous Javea. We looked carefully before selecting this property and we were not disappointed. The house is well equipped and perfectly located for short walks to the Arenal beach area and also to the great beach bars at the end of the road.

The house was very clean and well maintained. The pool area was immaculate and so easily accessed from the house which was fantastic for our 3 young children.

The owner was very responsive throughout our booking and we were very happy with the customer service. We will definitely return to Javea and would certainly hope to book this property again.

Ideal for Families as well as couples

The villa is well furnished and equipment more than sufficient, the Arenal and old port only a short walk away, well maintained swimming pool only a few steps away from the villa. 100% satisfaction.

My wife and I had our 40th wedding anniversary so we decided to go to Javea why we'll our daughter lives there . We decided that it would be nice to take out the rest of our family and have a nice holiday. We checked everywhere trying to find the right location and bang it was there. This is a lovely home it has everything you need it is immaculate clean and well looked after The inside of the house is very well presented it has all your it connections and great TV The bedrooms and and toilets were very nice the owner has taken great care and consideration to there customers well done . Would I recommend this holiday home, without a doubt 100 %

Well equipped, comfortable and well located.

We stayed at Casa Petirrojos for 4 nights in April 2015. There were 6 of us in total; 4 adults, one child (3 years) and a toddler (1 year.) First impressions were good and the house was very clean and tidy. We had a hire car with us and found no problem parking close to the house at any time.

The house is very well situated and only a short walk to the beach. The beach is brilliant for children; they enjoyed paddling in the sea, building sandcastles and playing on the many climbing frames/play equipment scattered along the beach. There were plenty of family friendly restaurants by the sea front and I have heard that in the summer there are a lot of pop-up bars very close to the house.

A travel cot was provided for our toddler which was ideal. All bed and cot linen was provided. There were also a couple of stair gates provided which were reasonably easy to fit and meant we could be a bit more relaxed with our toddler wandering around. There was no highchair but we knew this in advance and had bought a portable one with us.

The kitchen is quite small and is a bit of a squeeze if several people want to get food/drinks at the same time. The kitchen was well equipped and had all the utensils we needed plus a dishwasher. The dining room seats 6 people but again this is a little bit of a squeeze. The lounge area is spacious and the adults enjoyed playing cards around the table after the children went to bed. There is Free Sat TV and Wi-Fi, both of which worked well and allowed the children to get their Cbeebies fix.

The rooms are a nice size and we found we had plenty of space to unpack our clothes. The curtains are quite flimsy but if, like my husband, you can't sleep through the light, then it was possible to put the exterior shutters over the windows which acted as a black out blind.

The space outside the house is nice and my husband enjoyed sitting outside reading his book in the sun. The children enjoyed the separate children’s pool which is situated very close to the house and it’s easy to keep an eye on them from the back of the house. It was very peaceful in April and I would imagine it will get busier in the summer months.

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Petirrojos; the house was well equipped and well located.

Casa Petirrojos is located 7 minutes walk from the Arenal sandy beach, 15 minutes walk to the port and 2 minutes walk to the sea front. There are good, flat cycle paths. There is a diving centre within 5 minutes walk, two good tennis clubs within 15 minutes walk and a number of golf courses within 15 minutes drive. The Arenal has boat rental, paddle boarding, Pedalos and a number of good restaurants available. Towards the port is Jet Ski and windsurfing rental. Good supermarkets are available within 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk. Buses are available from the seafront to the port and the old town of Javea.
