Beautiful, clean, comfortable, excellent

Absolutely charming, perfect location, unbeatable views, spotlessly clean, kind owners, everything you could want. One thing to point out though is it is 3 flights of stairs up and no lift, which I personally liked but do be advised. Marvelous place!

Great place to stay!

If you are looking for a place that you can park your car and never have to really use it around Edinburgh, then this is the place for you. Before we arrived Alan suggested a place to park so we could be close to the apartment to unload the car. Once we arrived, he met us and helped carry some of our bags up to the apartment. He then proceeded to go with me in my car and show me where to park and gave me some helpful tips on where to park the car while we were there. Once back at the apartment, my wife and I noticed that everything was in great order and was very clean as well. The apartment looked exactly as it was pictured and as described in the ad. I would highly recommend staying here again with my family and have recommended this place to my friends when they asked me about the trip. Alan's communication was spot on and he was very responsive to any questions that I had. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Perfect location, beatiful view

The flat is well-appointed, comfortable bed, well-supplied kitchen and the window seat is a bonus. The owner met us, took us through the basics of the flat and had included a start-up supply of coffee and milk. Its location within walking distance of Grassmarket, the CBD and Edinburgh Castle made it ideal for our visit. I would highly recommend it.

The apartment is ten minutes (up hill) walk away from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. There are a great selection of Bars and restaurants in the nearby Grassmarket. On your doorstep there is the Timberyard, AA Scottish restaurant of the year. Also Tom Kitchin Michellin star chef's, Castle terrace restaurant is five minutes walk away. Love Crumbs close by is a great place for coffee and cake. A small Sainsbury supermarket on the corner is open late into the evening.
