Hi Judi and Mike, we stayed Christmas week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, you have a beautiful home in a lovely location. We were also very impressed with the effort you went to regarding the Christmas decorations it felt VERY Christmassy! The welcome packages were a lovely touch too. The only negative (and we hate to say it but think its important for you) is in the master bedroom there were a lot of flies. They were even landing on us through the night while sleeping, perhaps the beams need fumigating? The mattresses were also rather comfy but would it put us off coming again............NO WAY!

Thank you again foe a lovely stay and we hope to back if you will have us!

Had a fantastic week over the new year, it was like home from home. There was twelve of us and three dogs, you wasn't under each others feet. There is two television rooms and a games room so no arguments. Recommend the Grantley arms Ripon for food very nice and friendly too.Love to come back.

A well presented property in a wonderful location

  • 4 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at Dallowgill barn. It met our need well. I would suggest that ir would be useful for potential bookers to know that the approach to the property is on unmade-up roads so may not be suitable for all vehicles, and that the property is not ideal for infants as there are lots of stone floors, changes of levels and the stairs are difficult to make safe.

Wonderful house well suited to large groups

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 70 th party week at the house. The house has loads of room which enabled different age groups to socialise in different room. Would love to stay there again in the future. Lovely walks nearby with plenty of nice pubs to eat in.

Lovely holiday - weather could have been better

  • 4 of 5

My children and teenage grandchildren all enjoyed this location and property. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated after a long journey. We even managed to rescue a ewe which had got stuck on it's back in a tractor rut.
