A bright, clean, well equipped apartment with fabulous sea views

We had a very enjoyable stay - the apartment was very well equipped and had a large balcony. My husband was able to watch some of the euro football on the TV and the beach was a 5 minute walk, with chiringuitos and sunbeds. Perfectly situated between Torrox Costa and Nerja with plenty of parking spaces. Will most certainly return.

Magnifique séjour

Mon mari et moi avons passé un excellent séjour à Calaceite.

Nos deux petits chiens ont très bien été accueillis.

L'appartement est très propre et spacieux. La vue est magnifique !

Peut-être manquait-il un peu plus d'ustensiles de cuisine.

Quoiqu'il en soit, nous y retournons l'année prochaine !

Excellent place to stay in Costa del Sol

We were here end of April through early May when the weather was still not so warm and I wore a heavy sweater most of the time.

The buildings in this apartment complex looked very beautiful during the day and at night. The location was great, safe neighborhood, close to grocery stores, restaurants; surrounded by gorgeous looking houses, some with almost perfect landscapes, beach was one street away. While the living room looked rather plain and small, the balcony was large which extended from one side of the living room to the other side of the master bedroom. The balcony had metal railing instead of concrete panel which did not obstruct the views like some of the Adobe style balconies where concrete panels are used. Most of our meals were enjoyed on the balcony just staring at the Mediterranean Sea, the birds, and the curvy small roads which looked more like beautiful designs which complimented the pretty houses and their enchanting landscapes than actual roads that were used for cars; there was so little traffic when we were there. Night time was fun to sit outside, but a bug repellent candle is recommended which can be purchased from grocery stores. We had binoculars and we saw many cruise ships glittering under the night sky.

The owner was wonderful and responded to emails promptly; staff from the office where we picked up the keys very genuine and very charming; and the very warm and courteous welcome from Vicente was heartwarming although the only communication we had was over the phone.

The only negatives were: after sweeping with a broom I saw a little insect jumping out from the master bedroom closet (rest of the apartment was sufficiently clean); and then the most disappointing issue was the maid service which came as a surprise (it was not indicated on the website). A couple of days after our arrival the cleaning ladies opened the apartment door and came in without knocking. The second time when this occurred was a couple of days before our departure and they came in while we were out. I contacted the owner regarding the two unannounced entries; she responded diligently and said that this will not happen again in the future.

The nine days we spent at the Calaceite Apartments have been the best of our 24 days in Andalusia.

Sehr angenehmer Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Nettes Personal beim Empfang (Portier) und fleißige Raumpflegerinnen.

Die Ferienwohnung hat unsere Erwartungen in vollem Umfang erfüllt. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, die Lage mit Blick auf das Meer ein Traum ! Die Wohnung läßt keine Wünsche offen, ist hochwertig eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet.

Eine unvergessliche Urlaubswoche! Es gibt in der Umgebung viel zu sehen und zu erleben: der kleine malerische Ort Frigiliana, Nerja, Antequera und die Fahrt dorthin durch tolle, schnell wechselnde Landschaften und - last but not least - Gibraltar mit seinem "Rock".
