Holiday home, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, (Sleeps 4)

Holiday cottage, away from mass tourism, situated in the heart of Andalusia on a hill near Villanueva de la Concepción with numerous almond trees and olive groves. There are beautiful views to the natural park of El Torcal and desfiladero de los Gaitanes near Antequera. The house is part of a traditional Spanish villa and completely restored using original materials, so that the original atmosphere remained.

There are several terraces; one is in front with a comfortable seating area shaded by a pergola covered with grape vines. You will find sunny or shady places to rest and relax, to enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine in the evening with views to the mountains and beautiful sunsets. The swimming pool, maintained and available all year round, is situated in a patio surrounded with hedge and offers cozy privacy.

Excursions are easily to be made to the Andalusian cities, like Antequera with Europe's most important prehistoric dolmens, since 2016 UNESCO World Heritage Site. As well as numerous places of interest of Moorish past, such as the impressive mosque of Cordoba and the world-famous Alhambra of Granada.

Nearby you should not miss the kings path Caminito del Rey through the El Chorro gorge.

The owners, a German couple, will be your hosts and can advise you, recommend restaurants or give you tips for excursions.

They are engaged with organic farming and processing of products (such as jams, fresh eggs, vegetables, almonds, virgin olive oil), with sustained commitment to social projects, the responsible handling of animals and the preservation of nature.

Wir haben 1 Woche in der Finca Lomas de Tienda verbracht.Der Ausruf unserer Enkelkinder bei Ankunft sagt

eigentlich schon alles." Das ist ja wie im Paradies " , dieser Meinung unserer Jungs können wir uns nur anschließen.

Die Finca ist sehr schön gelegen unterhalb von El Torcal.Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt, das Ferienhaus sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.Die Vermieter, welche auf gleichem Grundstück wohnen,empfingen uns sehr nett.Als kleines Willkommensgeschenk gab es hausgemachte Feigenmarmelade und frische Eier.Viele nützliche Tips zu den geplanten Unternehmungen konnten wir von den Vermietern erhalten.Die Finca eignet sich bestens als Ausgangspunkt fürAusflüge nach Granada , Ronda , El Torcal, Camenito del Rey, ans Meer.

14 dagen op een finca in de bergen van El Torcal van daaruit verschillende steden bezocht, Antequera, Malaga, Cordoba, Granada, Marbella en de Costa del Sol. Vergeleken met de drukke Costa, is de finca Lomas de Tienda een oase van rust. Een azuurblauwe hemel, een fris zwembad, heel vriendelijke gastheer en -vrouw. Alles was perfect. Gaan eten bij de Spanjaarden in Villanueva, héél lekker en helemaal niet duur. Midden tussen de bergen, heerlijk fris met momenten, overal loslopende geiten op de straat ... Spaanse kan niet ! Een aanrader voor een gezin met 2 kindjes of zoals wij een koppel met zuster ... 100% perfect !

De goed uitgeruste finca ligt in het binnenland van Andalusië. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en helpen waar het mogelijk is, zonder opdringerig over te komen. Ruime plekken rond de finca om op meerdere plaatsen in de zon of de schaduw te zitten of in het zwembad te liggen. Geen druk toerisme, geen disco's, weinig verkeer, kleine dorpen ( La Higuera, Villanueva de la Concepcion, La Joya en Antequera in de buurt met winkels en horeca, natuur voor de deur. Mooie wandelroutes o.a. door het natuurpark El Torcal (vlak bij). Iets verder plaatsen als Malaga, Cordoba en Granada. Vanwege het sterk glooiende terrein is een auto met iets vermogen geen luxe!
