Warm Springs Lodge is a true log cabin built with hand hewn lodge pole pine logs. It is located next to 3 million acres of National forest and park land. The CD (Continental Divide) trial which is part of a 300+ mile trail system is within a 1/2 mile of the cabin.
There are 3 resorts near by; Crooked Creek Guest Ranch, Lineshack and Sawmill. The elevation is 8500 feet above sea level. It is about 1.5 hours from Jackson Hole airport and is about 25 minutes from Dubois, WY.
We loved staying at the lodge! Kevin was extremely easy to work with and very helpful. The night sky was fantastic and hearing the elk after dark was something you don't get to experience every day. The cabin was clean, and comfortable with plenty of room, so we had everything we could need. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook a family meal. We were able to visit Yellowstone one day and Jackson/Grand Teton for several days. Would love to come back in the winter! The drive up to the cabin would be better with a 4-wheel drive vehicle in bad weather, but we would definitely love to come back!
We loved staying at Warm Springs Lodge. The property was very nice! There was plenty of room for 12 of us! The kitchen is well equipped. The owner was very nice and quite helpful. We used the gas grill for our evening meals. The kids used the fire pit out front for S'mores. Crooked Creek Ranch was nearby and one of the couples with our group chose to stay there. It was close to us and we walked over and rented a 4-wheeler for the day. We were able to take a day to Jackson and another day to Yellowstone, but it is a bit far to see all of Yellowstone and get back to the lodge around dinner time. The lodge could have been a bit cleaner, but it wasn't unappealing at all.
This house was wonderful for our group of three adults and three children (ages 7, 9, and 11). We had plenty of room to spread out. The Crooked Creek lodge is in walking distance - we had drinks and snacks there one evening and breakfast another - excellent food and service. Also enjoyed walking the path that surrounds the development (too warm to see animals). Spent a day at the Teton NP and a day at Yellowstone. Owners were very helpful!! I'd suggest bringing some chairs for the outdoors if you are going to visit during the summer, spring, or fall.
The house was a great fit for the 9 of us on a snowmobile trip. Lots of room, everything you could think of in the kitchen, very comfortable. Easy to get to trails.
This property is great, a group of 4 of us stayed here during an Elk hunt, this was my second stay here, and I cannot say enough good things about the property or the owners. The property has everything you want, it was very clean and well kept, and had many great amenities. If you like wildlife, you can see deer right from the living room. I cannot say enough about the great communication from the owners, and how they do everything to make sure you have a great experience.
Outstanding accommodations!! Actually thought it was newly constructed! Wonderful location for our day trip to Yellowstone/Grand Teton, which was reason for selecting this property.....the rest was icing on the cake!!
