An excellent selection of Shops, world class restaurants, bars and even a casino lie, literally, on the doorstep, or take a two minute stroll to the hustle and bustle of Main Street and enjoy duty free shopping. The apartment is fully equipped, complete with bed linen & towels in addition to complimentary Wi Fi, an absolute must for uploading all those wonderful holiday snaps.

A welcome pack awaits you on arrival containing all the basics and a few extras to start you off on your holiday.

You will love the Ocean Village landscaped communal gardens, with 5 pools and 7 jacuzzi. The gardens cover 35,000 sq. ft. with lush, sub-tropical plants. The effect is to create a natural environment that flourishes all year round – giving shade in the summer and colour in the winter.

One of the pools and the jacuzzi is climatized and can be used all year round.

Great views of sea and ocean village

This is the 3rd time we stayed at ocean village but the first time in this apartment on arrival we called Suzanne to advise we had arrived at the airport she said she would meet us in half an hour at the reception, after waiting for around 50mins. We eventually got into the appartment which on first inspection was lovely. Suzzane showed us around but adviced both the washing machine and tumble dryer were not working she was arranging an engineer to come in next day. On the evening we went to wash the dishes in the dishwasher but the top half of the unit was full of water and obviously also broken by the smell of the water this had not just happened. We contacted suzzane to advise of the issue. We were there for 3 nights and the washinging machine dishwasher and tumble dryer were still not fixed and was starting to smell due to the warm weather and stale water inside. However suzzane did contact us to advise she could not get an engineer there but was trying for later in the week. Also the iron did not work either.

The appartment is comfortable and well appointed with wonderful views from the balcony we enjoyed our stay but the issues with the units that had failed did let it down so hence the low score

We would go again but attention to detail needs to be sorted I'm afraid

Fabulous Location and Views

My wife and I stayed there with four friends and family for a long weekend for the Gibraltar Music Festival and the location was perfect. The apartment was very clean and tidy except for a couple of small things like the trim around the wardrobe in the en-suite bedroom and the wardrobe door in the middle bedroom need fixing. Reading the original description of the property I presumed it would be three bedrooms and three bathrooms (en-suite, bathroom and shower room) but it is actually only two bathrooms. The balcony is fabulous with stunning views and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We would highly recommend this apartment and will hopefully be staying there again in the future. Many thanks.

Did not live up to expectations

Upon entering the apartment we were told by property manager Suzanne the air conditioning was not working.

Substitute fans and portable a/c units proved useless over 5 very hot and humid days and nights. Construction next door restricted any outdoor space being utilised and acknowledgement from the owner that some compensation was due has yet to be honoured.

It is with regret that I write this review as prior to arrival communication was exemplary.

This experience ruined a long awaited holiday for 3 Southern Hemisphere travellers.

On the positive side the apartment is spacious and well located. However future patrons deserve to be informed of any maintenance issues prior to arrival.

With the ongoing construction next door I would strongly recommend you do your due diligence before booking this apartment in the foreseeable future

I am well travelled and have used this website many times and this is the first negative review i have had to post.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit broke about 2 weeks before your arrival and we called in various engineers who confirmed it would no longer work. As you will understand, aircons are not usually kept in stock, they have to be ordered and this took just over 3 weeks. Meanwhile, we purchased 3 fans and 3 portable air-conditioning units which maintained the apartment cool at 24c. The construction of the building unfortunately i cannot do anything about. The monies i am in the process of returning when i receive your full bank details are not compensation, just a gesture of good will because you did not get to stay the first night in the apartment when your flights got delayed and you missed the connection, that is not something i have to do. I again apologise if you did not like the apartment, but it now has newly installed air conditioning units and the construction should be finished early next year, but the worst part is already over.
