Lovely apartment in a brilliant location!

We spent 4 nights in this lovely apartment. It's location is perfect, right in the centre of Colico with a stunning view of the Lake and mountains. Its opposite the boat stop and only 5 minute walk to the train station so you can easily visit other towns on the lake or travel to Bergamo or Milan. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The owners were very helpful and informative. Colico itself is a lovely sleepy town which isn't as touristy as the others we visited which suited us perfectly. It has a selection of good restaurants, supermarkets, bars/cafes/ice-cream shops and a little beach. There are some lovely walks/cycle routes from Colico which are well worth exploring. All in all an excellent base for visiting Lake Como and we hope to return soon. Many thanks!

Schwimmen, Radfahren, Restaurants und Geschäfte vor der Tür und fußläufig zum Bahnhof. Gemütliche Unterkunft, die (außer einer Terrasse) alles bot, was wir brauchten.

Beautiful waterfront apartment on North end of Lake Como

The apartment is modern and spacious, and overlooks the main town plaza next to the lake and steps from the ferry dock. Just a stunning view and location. Five restaurants are within view from the front door. Everything was perfect with our stay except two minor items: (1) the apartment was not ready for our arrival until 3 hours after the scheduled time, due to an emergency with one of the cleaning people; and (2) the mattress in the bedroom is not very comfortable, which could be solved by a foam mattress topper. Simona was a great host and very responsive after the initial check-in delay.

Beautiful Como Lake !!

Very good place to stay! Nice view on the lake, good restaurants, public transport very good (train, boat, bus), we did not use our car during our stay. Property manager Simone was always available when we had questions.
