City Centre Liverpool With Mersey Views. Located in the Docklands

The Town House is a large, two double bedroomed apartment in the city centre with views of the River Mersey.The Liverpool 1 shopping area and the Albert Dock are within walking distance.

There is an en suite shower room to the master bedroom and a further bathroom.The second bedroom can be configured as a super kingsized double or 2 single beds. The large lounge /dining room has a sunny balcony with views of the river, the Leeds Liverpool Canal and the Wirral. There is a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer. There is free, secure parking and wi-fi. It is available on a short term or a weekly basis and there are reductions for monthly or longer stays. Please contact for details.

Please note, The Town House is located in a peaceful area, yet close to the centre. It is suitable for tourists and family groups, but not for Stag and Hen parties.

If the Town House is only booked for 2 people, there will only be one bedroom made up. If you require 2 bedrooms, please book for 4 people.

The Albert Dock and the museum of Liverpool Life are within walking distance too, as is the ferry port for the iconic 'Ferry Across the Mersey.'

Clean, fresh, well equipped apartment! Nicely decorated, lovely to have the balcony. Great location, just a short hop in a taxi to the centre of things but serene and peaceful!

Really good shower, comfy beds, nice linen and towels (though a bath sheet would have been appreciated). Decent internet. Instructions for coffee machine would have been helpful. TV/Video/DVD set up could do with a little modernisation but that really was our only minor criticism!

Great apartment in good location

The apartment was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. It is in a good location to either walk into Liverpool or a 5 minute taxi ride. One problem we had was the apartment above us watering their plants and soil and water dripping onto our balcony and soaking the chair cushion on the balcony.

Lovely flat with a few provisos

We really enjoyed our stay in Liverpool, and would recommend the flat, but there are pros and cons.

PRO: it is a great location overlooking the Mersey. It's a lovely view and we enjoyed watching the ships go back and forth. I particularly enjoyed the balcony. If we went again we might actually try to make our visit coincide with one of the big cruise ships. It's a peaceful area.

CON: The windows desperately need replacing. Half of them are blown and obscure the great view. Most of the seals are gone also, meaning they do not keep cold air out, and can actually be quite noisy if the wind is in the wrong direction. While it's generally a very peaceful area, the geese can be quite noisy (or lovely, depending on your outlook).

PRO: The flat is well equipped and a good size for four. Two bathrooms is a real plus in moving things along in the morning, and the main bathroom has a great shower.

CON: the dishwasher didn't work and there were no tea towels (sorry Katie, couldn't find one under the bed). This could explain why most of the crockery needed cleaning (although the flat itself was clean).

WARNING: if you don't like walking you will need to take taxis to get into town as there's not really any public transport. As it happens, we do like walking, particularly along the river to the docks. Most things are 1-2 miles from the flat. If you drive and the thought of a two-mile walk to the cathedral puts you off there is plenty of parking near the Echo arena.

ADVICE: the instructions talk about jiggling keys and turning clockwise then anticlockwise to get the lock to open. We actually spent quite a while on two occasions trying to get the door open until we hit apon the best way. Simply put the key in the latch and lift it as you turn anticlockwise. No problem at all after that.

Liverpool is a great place to visit. We spent seven days there full of activity, and would recommend St George's (the tour takes you to fabulous rooms not normally open), both cathedrals (including the tower tour in the Anglican), the Princes Road synagogue (wonderful interior and interesting guide, but call them to book in advance), Mersey tunnel tour, Walker Art Gallery and St John's beacon. Bacchus, the restaurant nearest the flat, does great food. In town Viva Brazil is very interesting, and the Ship & Mitre has something like 20 beers available and serves a very tasty scouse.

Our stay in Liverpool

Really enjoyed my stay at this property. We came in from the US for a Liverpool Champions soccer match. First of all the local hotels inflated their room rates, which made this choice highly favorable. The apartment was very nicely laid out and clean. The location is not in the center of town, but is a quick Uber ride to basically anywhere in town. There was some nice touches like converters, coffee, spices and ample paper products. Getting the keys, and checking out was also a very easy process. If you are staying a longer time, there is a Costco within walking distance, along with a local store.

This is a quiet but city centre location,situated on Liverpool's waterfront near the Malmaison and Thistle Hotels. A stroll along the waterfront will bring you to the Seacat Ferry port for Ireland and the Isle of Man links, and the Mersey Ferries for the iconic 'Ferry, Cross the Mersey' boatride. Continue along to the Albert Dock area for restaurants and bars,or the tourist attractions of the Beatles' Museum, the Maritime Museum, the Tate or the Liverpool Museum of Life .From here you can hop on to the Liverpool Duck Tour or take an open air bus ride of the city. The Liverpool 1 shopping centre can be easily reached with it's great selection of shops, bars, restaurants and cinema. The Liverpool Echo Arena is close enough to walk to, but not too close for the ear.
