About this property

For Three day weekends & Holidays there is a three day minimum. THE DELL in RAMONA is a quiet, peaceful, comfortable 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home that is right next door to a winery, minutes from Ramona center, close to Julian and Wild Animal Park. Every bedroom has WiFi, Smart TVs, Dish and a view. The house sleeps 8 comfortably and has too many extras to mention, if your going out or staying in to cook we have all your needs. Perfect for a weekend of wineries and micro brews and fine food. We also have a granny flat that is attached to the house that can sleep up to six, it has a full bath w/shower, smart 65" TV, Wifi, internet and separate entrance. The granny flat which can sleep up to six people rents out at a separate cost, it is not part of the house rental. You can rent the house and granny flat together.

amazing views

The previous reviews referred to the beautiful views, large comfortable bedrooms and living spaces, hospitality of the host, well like them, I admit, pictures do not do justice to this place. My family and I could not have been more pleased with the comfort and peacefulness of this place. Thank you James for all the effort you put into making your guests feel special.

You want to stay here!

My family and I (three of us) elected to stay at the "Dell" for Christmas. The home was beautifully decorated for the Holiday, inside and out. The spread out, 1 story, 3000+ square foot house was quiet (with its country setting, about 3 miles outside of Ramona), spacious with privacy with the 4 bedrooms, yet with an open plan in the sunken living room (with wood stove), kitchen and dining area. Our host, James, was a joy to communicate with both prior to our arrival and afterwards. We hope to return in the spring to see more of the local beauty and, perhaps, have some time to visit the local wineries and other attractions. We are sincerely appreciative of the wonderful Christmas we had!

Wedding weekend

My daughter was getting married at a nearby winery. We had family coming from out of state and we all wanted to be in one household. The Dell is the perfect space for one or many families looking to share a space! Lots of areas to congregate and beautiful rooms to sleep!

We absolutely love this home! So beautifully decorated and spacious. James has house stocked with everything you could need. The backyard is so breathtaking with the view of the mountains and at night the stars while in the hot tub. We will be back James! Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Quiet Respite

Stayed here with my entire family, husband, 7 grown kids, significant others, and 2 grandkids, 14 people total. We stayed for 2 days and 2 nights for my son's wedding, and it was everything we needed and then some. The house is beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, it was very peaceful. The owner, James, is really nice and was very responsive to any questions we had. Everyone agreed that we would love to come back again.
