Luxury apartment, quiet, spacious and sunny close to all shops and located in the historical center of a small fishing village: Paço de Arcos.
The apartment facing south is on the 1st floor of a beautiful residence named 'Palácio da Luz'. The terrace decorated with azulejos (earthenware tiles) typical Portuguese, you can see the sea and enjoy the sunlight to recharge.
The apartment is spacious. The No.1 bedroom has a double bed and a bathroom with bathtub. The No. 2 bedroom consists of a double bed and a bathroom with shower. Finally, the No. 3 room has 3 single beds (which makes possible dual configuration 1 bed + 1 single bed), bathroom with hydromassage bath and a separate toilet.
Located on the coast of Lisbon in the center of a small fishing village, the apartment is just steps from the beach, the best restaurants in Lisbon neighborhood of shops and transport such as rail that will allow you to escape the traffic and go quickly to Lisbon or Cascais while enjoying the scenery. That said, if you prefer to rent a car, you can have a parking place.
The area consists of small local shops, several renowned restaurants and a public garden that gives access to the beaches. After a busy day, take some fresh air, join the regulars, browse a few kilometers walk along the beautiful beaches of the coast, go fishing with local or take the opportunity to swim!
The apartment is 21kms from Lisbon Airport. You can take the Metro to 'Cais do Sodré' and then take the train to 'Paço de Arcos' but we suggest you take a taxi because the fare is relatively cheap, count between 25 and 35 € regardless of the number of people. Price is a function of time, miles and the number of luggage.
I have to say that our stay at this property was wonderful. The apartment has very good areas, each of the rooms with its own bathroom, super well decorated and comfy, feeling at home!
We had a very good time and enjoyed every second in this aparment. The owners made everything even easier, they where very helpful and kind.
I really recommend this property for your holidays, it is a very charming apartment located just meters away from the Linha beaches.
We were a family of 6 and a small child and had a truly wonderful and memorable time in the apartment during our stay there. Every little detail has been thought of, every need has been anticipated and provided for. And if the infrastructure was already not enough, the attitude of the owners made it totally worth the while. They were very helpful, easily approachable, and very friendly.
In the apartment, the rooms are large and well proportioned, and the furniture, furnishings, and bric a brac well chosen and displayed. The wifi works at high speed, the TV channels and DVD etc are all there. The kitchen is really well appointed - it has a huge Siemens 2-door fridge, a large oven, a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron... its all there. But what appealed to me the most was how the owners had thoughtfully stocked the home with daily supplies like coffee, tea, sugar, salt etc... things that you need to immediately hit a supermarket for when you arrive at a new destination! There are enough items of cutlery and crockery, cooking utensils, etc. There is even an apron for the intrepid chef to put on when they create a culinary delicacy! All the linen in the rooms - bed sheets, covers, pillows, towels etc are very clean and fresh.
The apartment is really well located. Restaurants all around and a big supermarket is right around the corner. The icing on the cake is a view of the sunrise every morning from the kitchen window! There is a huge underground parking for your car. And the train station for rides into Lisbon City is a 5 minute walk. A car ride to Lisbon takes 10-15 minutes.
We loved this property. We would want to stay there again when we go back to Lisbon.
Small fishing village on the coast and at the gates of Lisbon. There are the best restaurants in Lisbon Pátio Antico, Casa Gallega, Os Arcos, Casa da Dízima, Astrolábio Claro!
