About the property

Holborn/Russell Square minutes from British Museum

The flat has all the comforts, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, flat screen TV with Satellite, Broadband, DVD player, bath with shower attachment, gas central heating, fridge with separate freezer, MW, sleek ceramic hob cooker and modern oven, etc. Is fully furnished with all the necessary crockery, plates and cutlery, you will only need to bring your personal effects.

The apartment is fully tiled throughout and has plenty of storage space. The bedroom has 3 double wardrobes, 1 single with integrated laundry bag and shoe rack, and a large chest of drawers (8) and 2 bedside tables.

The bed is king size with a very comfortable memory foam mattress.

The building itself is an older one with no period features but it's very safe, with security fob gate and entrance and CCTV camera. Tenants have access to a shared garden at the back of the building. The apartment it's on the first floor with lift access.

The unlimited Wifi connection is up and running and works perfectly.

This flat is ideal for a single or a couple. Extra person can be accommodated in the lounge sofa bed by prior agreement.

The Location: Bloomsbury

Just a few minutes from the British Museum, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Brunswick Centre, UCL, LSE, Birbeck Uni, SOAS, very easy access to Covent Garden and St Pancras International and all the other amenities in WC1.

Southampton Row Flat

The two best things about this flat are its location and the wonderful supplies and warm welcome from Natalia. It is very well equipped and one of the best places we have stayed in for cooking. Natalia is exceptional in her care and concern and really bends over backwards to ensure that you have all the things you need for an extended stay (so you don't have to buy a lot of basic things). Its Bloomsbury location facilitates easy walking distance to the West End. A drawback for light sleepers is that it is on a very busy and fairly noisy street but, otherwise, it is a superb choice for London accommodation (and, at the price, a much better deal than comparable hotels).

Stylish, well-apppointed flat in great central London location

I stayed in this flat while working in London for five weeks during summer 2015. I'd never been to London for any length of time before, so the process of finding a place to stay was daunting. But from the first, the flat's proprietors were welcoming and helpful, even encouraging me to compare their place to other comparable ones.

I eventually settled on this flat and am very glad I did. Its location was excellent, very near the Holborn and Russell Square tube stops, and a short and pleasant walk to my workplace. The Bloomsbury neighborhood generally is full of great restaurants, shops, and pubs, and an ideal base from which to explore the awesomeness of London.

The flat itself was a marvel of efficiency and comfort. The proprietors had thought of everything and designed the space so that all modern conveniences were available in a relatively small area without feeling cluttered. The flat was very stylish and comfortable, with high-quality wifi and a kitchen fully stocked with cooking supplies and functional appliances. The washer/dryer units work very well and were a big help in making my stay more convenient.

And throughout my stay, the proprietors were friendly and gracious hosts who helped me navigate a foreign city in numerous ways. They were always available for advice on living in London, and when a historic heat wave hit, they arrived with a top-of-the-line fan to help out.

Overall, this was a fantastic flat I'd recommend to anyone who is lucky enough to book it.

Perfect for our week

Cosy flat, accurately described, but with a lot of thought given to every requirement of guests; nice welcome pack, clear wifi description, plenty of coat hangers,.....

Communal entrance area a bit dull but, everything changed when you entered the flat which was bright, clean and well maintained with plenty of homely touches

Location was ideal an easy walk from Covent Garden, West End,...

Would definitely recommend and hope to use again myself

Great apartment in a wonderful London location

My wife and I started our month-long tour of Europe with three nights at Natalia's rental in London. The experience was fantastic! Natalia was ready to meet us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. Great kitchen with washer and dryer, great size space for two people. Everything was very comfortable, and Natalia was outstanding about communication and making sure all of our questions were answered. The location is outstanding, too - right between Holborn and Russell Square tube stations, with grocery stores and everything else within a short walk.

We did have one small crisis during our stay: When we tried to use the jets in the bathtub, things were fine for a moment, and then the water level in the tub started dropping. We shut off the jets, and a few minutes later we got a call from the manager of the restaurant downstairs - water was coming through their ceiling! Eek! We didn't use the jets after that, and Natalia was super apologetic and made sure everything was okay.

These are the stories that make a trip memorable, and I love that Natalia made sure everything was all right in the end. Thank you!

Wonderful flat centrally located
