Llucalari Nou is an outstanding traditional country house, decorated in fine taste and with special charm. Located in a 110-hectare private estate, it is the perfect place to unwind and to get away from it all while you enjoy the nature and the stunning views of the sea and the countryside.

Fully renovated to a very high standard, this 500-sq. meter house has eight spacious bright double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and beautiful views, comfortable lounge rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, it features a large garden with a barbecue and a pergola, a private pool, an outdoor changing room and a spacious sunbathing area. Everything you need to enjoy the sun and the tranquillity of the area in complete privacy. Ideal for large groups of friends, families with children, yoga retreats, as well as for holding special events and celebrations like weddings or anniversaries.

In order to make guests feel like home, the house also features a table tennis, table football and six bicycles to go on a relaxing ride within the property, which has access to a virgin cove and to the Camí de Cavalls, a historical bridle path that surrounds the Menorcan coast.

We bought this property because we loved its location: quietly located on an elevated position in the countryside, it has excellent views over the surrounding lands and over the South Coast of Menorca.

Easily accessible, it is located only a few minutes away from Son Bou beach and its resorts and services, and just 5 km away from the town of Alaior

What makes this cottage unique

If offers quietness in a rural setting, but it's very close to a very nice holiday resort with the longest beach on the island. Very comfortable, modern, spacious and finely decorated. One of the crucial features of this house is its space. Having 8 bedrooms and large communal areas, this house offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the Menorcan countryside and quietness with the whole family.

Besides, the house has access to several private rural paths. Actually, you can hike along a gorge leading to an unspoilt cove. People can also enjoy the landscape and the nature of the ancient bridle path “Camí de Cavalls”, along which people can go for long walks, cycle or ride a horse. All household linen is provided and there is a cleaning service once a week in which towels and linen are changed. Additional cleaning services can be hired at an extra cost. We also provide beach towels. Pool maintenance is twice a week and garden maintenance, once a week. There are several dining areas suitable for large groups of people, both inside and outside. For big celebrations, we can provide additional beds, chairs and tables at an extra cost. Upon arrival, guests find a welcome pack with basic products to make their first days easier. Arrival and departure times are flexible.

Ha sido una estancia fantástica, la casa es preciosa, posee todas las comodidades para hacerte la estancia agradable. A pesar de que en estas fechas hace un poco de frio, hemos podido disfrutar de los exteriores de la finca y la zona de la barbacoa. Y lo mas destacable a mi parecer, la sensación de privacidad que ofrece la ubicación de la casa. Si buscas privacidad, tranquilidad, y estar alejado del bullicio de las grandes ciudades. Esta casa es el sitio perfecto para desconectar. Y por ultimo y no menos importante, la comunicación, el trato, y la cercanía por parte de la encargada. Muchas gracias a Maribel, Hizo de nuestras vacaciones algo especial.

Volveremos Seguro!.

Excelente alojamiento (en una isla maravillosa).

Es fácil resumir nuestra experiencia. No es posible poner la más mínima pega a la casa, a la finca, a su ubicación y al trato dispensado. La casa dispone de todas las comodidades, con el valor añadido de una gran tranquilidad y al lado del mar. Una casa excelente y totalmente recomendable.

The villa is located in the countryside, and you can actually walk to Son Bou Beach (where you'll find shops, restaurants, etc). It will take you around 5 minutes to go to Son Bou by car and around 10-15 minutes on foot.


Son Bou beach, the longest beach on the island, is 2km away from the house.


The only airport on the Island (Aeropuerto de Menorca) is 20km away. Port of Mao (18km away) and Port of Ciutadella 40km away have ferries that link the island with Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. Hiring a car is strongly recommended. Guests can collect it either in Son Bou or at the airport on their arrival.

The closest bus stop is in San Jaime (Son Bou).
