Wonderful but flawed.
In so many ways an excellent place to stay but ultimately a slightly disappointing experience. The owner Hortense and her husband are welcoming helpful and charming hosts. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, and the accommodation is characterful with one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. Unfortunately we were not told of the rather ugly building work immediately next door and the fact that one side of the buildings glass doors had a 6ft high makeshift fence the other side of them. Thankfully it is a property that they are renovating themselves and they kept there word and didn't carry out any work whilst we stayed there. I wouldn't recommend the property for small children due to the many steps down to the property and the lack of fencing around part of the garden near the Jacuzzi. I was putting the cover back on the Jacuzzi at night and fell over the side causing rather painful grazing and bruising to my arms/legs and face. Ultimately when the renovation work next door is finished, and if some extra fencing was put up around the Jacuzzi I would recommend it to all except those with small children. Until then I would say that the premium you pay to stay there is too much at the moment.

Great property, excellent location and wonderful view.
Newly refurbished property. Very comfortable, great for a few nights away to explore the area - and relax in the hot-tub whilst enjoying the view! Dishwasher is going to be installed and property instructions / info to be written. This is a newly listed property which lacked a couple of minor things which are 'work in progress' - otherwise we would have given it 5* Highly recommend this property. Steep steps (as photo) not suitable for very young children or anyone with mobility difficulties.

Very nice stay!
We had a lovely time at this recently renovated old stone house. The view of the countryside from the patio and hot tub was gorgeous. The house itself was very beautifully renovated, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and pleasant to deal with. As others have noted, it’s not a good fit for those who have kids or are mobility impaired due to the steep stairs; but it was fine for us. Our only complaint and the reason we didn’t give a 5 star rating was the internet was working very poorly when we were there and the cell phone signal is weak due to the hilly location. As we tend to plan our outings the night before with internet research (opening hours, directions, best places to eat, etc) this was a constant annoyance. I know, first world problems! Be aware that there is a security deposit due when checking in, and a cleaning fee due upon departure, which is not 100% clear in the listing, although we were aware of it. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend it highly to others, especially if they can get the internet sorted out.
