Ideal location

  • 4 of 5

The view is lovely and the rooms of the property are a good size. The property is in a fantastic location for shopping and seeing the Glasgow sights. Would recommend it. Could do with a bit of freshening up (paintwork etc) but not anything to put us off enjoying the property.

Owner's Response: Hi Jan we are delighted you recognised the great location of the apartment and would recommend. The apartment is very popular because of this and is regularly booked out. As a result sometimes the walls become marked due to cases, buggies etc. However we regularly have these marks touched up and the apartment is painted every year to ensure the decor is always fresh.

Great location, very clean and would definitely stay again

  • 5 of 5

The property was ideally located being a short walk from the train station and the shops. Internally the flat was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Views out over the river were an added bonus as were the complimentary shortbread! We would definitely stay again, thank you

Very nice city rental

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for 5 nights. The only bit of a surprise is the view you see from the window is likely not the part of the city that you'll be visiting. And the apartment backs up to a mall 1-2 blocks away. In between there are a few restaurants that are ok but also some closed up buildings. A bit desolate at night. But when you walk down a block and turn a corner, there's a grocery, metro stop, etc. and lots of activity. The apartment is very nice and pictures are accurate. Good toaster. Clothes washer and dishwasher. Decent dishes, etc. 2nd bedroom mattresses not great but nice bedding.

Owner's Response: Susan delighted the toaster was to your satisfaction and the bed linen. The view from the window is on to the river where many guests enjoy walking along the wide promenade taking in the views when heading to places of interest. You recommended a restaurant to us where you had 2 courses for £5.50 but we have never tried of that one. Not sure what other restaurants you visited as the main shopping area and an abundance of restaurants are 300 metres from the apartment - highly recommended on websites. We were also surprised about your comments about the mattress in the second bedroom - same mattresses in both rooms - thought you would be using the master bedroom where we had arranged a double bed. One of the emails I received from you during your stay was offering to send us a recording of the noise of the rain hitting off the building which had kept you off your sleep- the weather unfortunately is outwith our control. Pleased you acknowledged the accuracy of the photographs.

Clean, spacious and comfortable

  • 4 of 5

Our family of four stayed in this well located apartment in central Glasgow. It was very comfortable and close to shops, restaurants and the train to the docks area where the SSE Hydro and the science museum are located. The tea, coffee, milk and shortbread were much appreciated. Some instructions on the heating and hot water would have been useful as we were chilly going to bed but woke up feeling very hot during the night! However we figured out the timer after a while. Overall we would definitely recommend this apartment.
