Amazing location for our short stay

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Claire's vacation home. We emailed Claire previous to our arrival to get the details on our key pick up etc. and she was very thorough and quick with her reply. We arrived to some Scottish shortbread cookies and milk in the fridge which we really enjoyed! The big living area and kitchen was also nice with a beautiful view of the river. The place was tidy and is well maintained. I would recommend this place to our friends/family!

The only things we ran into were that the washing machine doesn't have a dryer (which we forgot about) so our clothes took a couple days to dry. The blankets were super comfortable but were a little too short for us (us being 5"5 to 6"1 in heights). We did have a problem with the shower head holder coming off in the main bathroom but we notified Claire and I think everything was fixed after we left. All in all it was a great place to stay in the short period of time we were there...And the location was PERFECT for downtown Glasgow!!

Owner's Response: Hi Jenessa we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Clydeview and would recommend our apartment to your friends and family. The duvets and covers are indeed very comfy, top quality Egyptian cotton and king size. The shower head was tightened after your stay- only a slight adjustment needed- many thanks for informing us about this. Look forward to welcoming you to Clydeview the next time you are in Glasgow. Claire

Great apartment, good location, terrific stay

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was great - everything we needed for our short break in Glasgow, nicely decorated, well maintained apartment.

The apartment was an easy walk with luggage from the Glasgow Central train station and was a short walk to lots of pubs, restaurants, public transportation, etc.

The hosts were very responsive when the water heater made some odd noises, which turned out to be nothing to worry about. :-) Loved the maps & brochures in the apartment for us to look over.

Really nice views of the river.

I will stay here again if I make it back to Glasgow!

Great clean bright place

  • 5 of 5

We were very impressed with the location, cleanliness, kitchen supplies, brochures, shortbread, etc. that were available. Nice, clean, well-decorated, made us feel right at home as soon as we got there. Beds clean, towels well-presented. I stayed with my friends Natalie and Paul. Only minor complaint is that my toilet paper roll ran out right before we left, and I don't think there were any spare rolls around. Location was perfect, right by the river (and great view of the river), and right by the main Buchanan Street and close to the subway if you need it.

Would recommend.

  • 4 of 5

Very clean and well fitted out with crockery, cutlery, pots etc. Attractive decor, pictures etc. Comfortable beds. Good location. Quiet. Enjoyed looking out of the big window at the river and nearby bridge.

Had a little trouble getting in the door the first time as the lock was a bit stiff.

We appreciated the short bread, tea and coffee, etc - a nice welcoming touch.

Would stay again. Thank you.
