Value Apartment for Your Budget - Free WiFi - Gnv. 44 #201

Björn’s apartment was perfect for our needs of two couples. The apartment is in an excellent location. We rented a car and parking was free and immediately behind the apartment. The description and pictures of the apartment was accurate. The apartment was clean, tidy and modestly appointed but had all of the necessary essentials. As mentioned Björn’s communication style was appreciated. He was extremely prompt and responsive. I never had a need to meet with Björn because the whole arrival process (key left in lockbox) was seamless but I felt confident that if I contacted Björn with any concerns he would have responded and acted quickly. The apartment is modest but extremely functional and priced correctly.

The property has everything we need.very close to all of the shops and fast foods. Bjorn is a very helpful host. With the location of the property the price is unbeatable!

Nice apartment with really comfy bed. Close to shops and bus services. The flat was well stocked with towels etc, and was clean.

Our only difficulty was with the snow, and that was certainly outside Bjorns control!

We just returned (today) from spending 9 nights/10 days. Bjorn was very helpful and gave us plenty of ideas on how to enjoy our stay in Reykjavik. The apartment was perfect for four people and the rooms were a good size, and like his ads says, budget friendly. It was clean and very comfortable. Agree with the first remark on the toilet, however, we mastered flushing the toilet quickly without a run on, and there were no issues at all for the rest of our stay. We did not use the stove/cooking plates, so I cannot comment on what the previous renters said. There were restaurants/coffee shops/grocery store/department store, etc. all within minutes of walking. We took #14 bus 4 times during our stay, $4 ISK ride, and the bus stop is two minutes from the apartment. It takes you to a stop close to the Harbour Front, the same for a stop at Bankastraeti/Laugavegur - fabulous shopping/tourist area. Even fun to do the whole bus route - LOL. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Reykjavik, the apartment was perfect for our needs (cost for stay very reasonable), good locale, felt very safe in the neighbourhood, the people were friendly, helpful and spoke english. We would not hesitate to rent this apartment again in the future. Thanks Bjorn !
