Very peaceful, well furnished and spacious.
Excellent communications with the owners leading up to our stay and could not have been more helpful with information and organising transport to Bol. Property was as described and very clean.
Our cosy retreat in the beautiful village of Bol
We really felt this was 'ours' for the week - home from home - we all loved our stay here! The owners have great taste, the house is beautiful, met all our needs and the location so central and yet so quiet and peaceful. Ivica, the property manager, was a lovely person, very helpful. Would love to go back someday!
Really nice little house
The Bol23 is a really nice little house with all necessities. Clean and tidy and nicely decorated. Good Wifi, and the terrace is a big plus, were you can sit in the shadow. The host was very helpful.
If you have small children, the hill up to the house is quite steep.
We are glad you had a great stay at No23, you make a good point about the hill, so we will update our description to reflect this, thank you :)
all the best

2 fantastic holidays at the house 2014 and 2015
We (2 adults 2 children) stayed at the house in August 2014 and went
back again in August 2015. It is an excellent house with lots of space and great facilities such as a modern kitchen, nice TV, DVD player, BBQ and WIFI. We found Klaudia (the owner) to be very responsive if we had a query about anything.
We would thoroughly recommend staying here. The 2 bedrooms are upstairs via an external staircase, that gives nice views whenever you walk up, consisting of a twin for the children and double for us. (Both have aircon).
There is an external table that we ate at most evenings with wicker chairs which is very nice outside.
The house is 5 mins walk from the centre of Bol. Note it is on a small hill if you have small children walking. (Also note there a good local wine cellar shop conveniently on the way up to the house from the village).
Bol itself is fabulous with a long promenade to the right, as you face the sea, with various nice beaches on the way to the famous Zlatni Rat beach (20 mins walking). Zlatni Rat beach is usually quite crowded so we would stay at nearby beaches on the way to Zlatni Rat. There is also a road train and a small ferry that will also take you to Zlatni Rat too.
On the left out of Bol there is a pretty monastery beach (also about 20 mins walking) that is very good for swimming.
Bol itself has lots of friendly restaurants and some nice shops.
Bol is a great destination with things for parents and children to do in great weather. Snorkelling, swimming, windsurfing and other water sports are all available while staying in Bol. There's also a big Wibit Aqua park near Zlatni Rat for the children to bounce on.
Mountain bikes are available to hire too in various places (I hired one to get about more easily). There are steep hills outside of Bol that are best cycled up early morning or in the evening due to the heat.
We also took a boat day trip to glamorous Hvar which is worth a visit.
I expect we will return to Bol again - this year we are trying somewhere else in Croatia to visit and it will be difficult to match wonderful Bol and the house we stayed at.
Danish family (teens)
we loved our stay! Wonderful peaceful house which functions very well! Bol is a great holiday location - beautiful and full of opportunity for active holiday in and on the sea Food is good and we met very nice people. We would love to come back!
Super week in Bol
Bol is a well know water sports venue and offers some of the best windsurfing and kite surfing in the Adriatic. Along with daily diving trips ad bike tours there is plenty to keep every busy. If you want a more relaxed holiday then the Zlatni Rat beach in Bol is a great place to soak up the sun and watch the yachts go by!
No23Bol is a 30 min stroll from the Zlatni Rat beach or 15 mins from the Borak Beach and Big Blue windsurf centre. Alternatively you can catch one of the many taxi boats from Bol harbor that run daily to Zlatni Rat every 15 mins or so.
The nearest airport is Split which is serviced by most of the main airlines. From there it's a 30 min bus or taxi ride to the main Split harbor. The car ferry to Brac runs throughout the day and docks at Supertar (on the north side on Brac). Alternatively you can catch the fast passenger ferry at 4pm which runs directly from Split to Bol.
