In a rural location in the Sierra de Mijas yet only minutes drive from two towns

This villa is perfect for families and friends looking for a comfortable, beautifully presented home for their holiday. Although a fairly modern house with all the mod cons you would expect from a contemporary holiday home, including wifi, international TV and air conditioning, the design incorporates many rustic features, like the brick archways framing the lounge and kitchen entrances and the lovely wooden bannisters. All of the rooms are on the same level, with the exception of the Master Bedroom which is on the first floor and the games room, with table tennis and pool table, which is in the basement. The grounds of the villa are fully fenced in and within the grounds, the swimming pool is also completely fenced in making it safer for families with young children or weaker swimmers.

The Master Bedroom has it´s own staircase leading up to the bedroom, which has a double bed and double wardrobe. There is an ensuite shower room and it even has it´s own private terrace with sun loungers and spectacular views to the mountain and the tower which featured in El Dorado soap opera! This bedroom has air conditioning. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and plenty of wardrobe space. It is air conditioned. There are patio doors leading onto the covered terrace and affords views of the pool and mountains. This bedroom has it´s own large bathroom with two basins, wc and bath with shower over. Bedrooms 3 and 4 both have two single beds in and plenty of storage. They are both air conditioned too. They share the use of the Family Shower room which is just a few steps away.

The Lounge has two large leather sofas facing the feature open fire and has a tv and dvd player. There is a dining table and four chairs in here for more informal dining or for children´s activities.

The Kitchen is an L shape with all of the appliances one would expect, including Nespresso coffee machine. Plenty of crockery and cutlery are provided. The door from the kitchen leads out to the terrace at the rear of the villa.

In the basement there is a table tennis table and pool table. A sofa and board games make this the perfect place for teenagers or adults to have their own space away from the rest of the group!

Outside the villa is a large covered terrace with seperate lounge, dining and barbeque areas. There is even an extra fridge next to the barbeque! The pool area is accessed through a locking gate and down a few steps and has plenty of space for sunloungers. All of the areas around the villa are dotted with fruit trees, ornaments and pieces of art, making the grounds really attractive.

Mooie vakantiewoning gelegen in een rustige urbanisatie op 5 min.rij afstand van het centrum voorzien van voldoende winkels.Auto wel noodzakelijk.Woning zowel binnen als buiten goed onderhouden en een goede service via huiseigenaar.

Beautiful apartment located in a quiet urbanization 5 min. drive from the center with sufficient facilities. Car necessary. Well both inside and outside well maintained and a good service through homeowner.

Excellent Villa, Great Customer Service

The customer service provided by Anneliese was superb.

From the initial inquiry we made about the villa to the prompt return of our deposit after our stay she responded to all our questions and queries very promptly and informatively. She met us at the villa on our arrival and provided helpful local knowledge.

The Villa was exactly as we expected from the description, and was excellent in every way. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The outdoor living area was one of the main attractions of the villa and didn't disappoint. The gas BBQ got plenty of use!

Set in a quiet urbanisation in the hills above the coastal strip a car is definitely a must, but road access is good. Around 30 mins or less from Malaga airport, Marbella and Fuengirola, and only about 1hour 20 mins from Gibraltar. Sevilla and Granada can both be reached in around 2 hours.

Malaga Old Town is well worth a visit, or two, and a delight. We highly recommend a Bistro/Cafe called BrunchIT in the Old Town, which serves a variety of delicious and well presented dishes that won't break the budget.

The weather was perfect, 14 days of clear blue skies, no sign of any rain, and temperatures between 27-34 deg C. Sept is clearly a good month to visit and we had a wonderful holiday, mixing relaxation in the good sized pool with exploring the Costa del Sol and further afield.

What an amazing villa!

This villa is the perfect retreat for exploring the Costa Del Sol. The villa is modern, fully equipped, spotlessly clean and a real home from home. The pool area was nothing short of amazing! A real sun trap. The neighbourhood was very quiet and the people in the villa next door were very friendly.

We hired a car from Malaga airport which was really easy and the drive to the villa was very straight forward. We used Google maps and it took us straight to the villa in about 30 minutes.

We arrived quite late with 3 hungry adults and 3 even hungrier kids so headed to the BP garage to stock up. The thought of finding the garage was a little daunting but we really shouldn’t have worried, it’s was no more than 5 minutes up the main road and was really well stocked. Local supermarkets were within easy reach and more suitable for a ‘big shop’.

Coin itself is a small town with a few bars and restaurants, ideal if you want to stay local. Again the drive in to Coin was really straight forward and there was plenty of parking. We chose to go further afield, Marbella, Benalmadena, Peurto Banus, Mijas and Fuengirola were all within 30 minutes and were absolutely brilliant places to visit. All the usual holiday resort attractions but with some really nice bars and restaurants. We used trip advisor to decide which restaurants to use and luckily it paid off, we didn’t have a bad meal all week.

We would definitely recommend this villa and it’s location but would say a car is essential unless of course you are planning on spending the week by the pool!

Will definitely return soon!

Fantastic villa

We were two families staying in this lovely villa for a week. The property was large enough to accommodate us all comfortably and the outside space and pool were bigger and nicer than they appear in the photos. The addition of a fridge and sink next to the BBQ area was very handy and we had a BBQ most evenings, making the most of the beautiful weather.

This is a nice quiet area, but close enough to visit supermarkets, restaurants and the local area. We visited Mijas village one day which is absolutely stunning, full of typical Spanish character and beautiful panoramic views.

Anneliese was excellent in maintaining contact throughout the arrangements and nothing was too much trouble.

Overall, we would not hesitate to recommend the villa and would definitely like to return.

Beautiful villa in quiet area

It was a wonderful holiday in a very nice villa. The villa is located in a quiet area but not far from the beach (20 min) and small towns with shopping possibilities and Restaurants. The villa was very well equipped and was very clean. Anneliese was a very nice landlady. Contact with her was very good and she gave us lots of tips. We enjoyed our holiday in the villa very much.

Even better than the photographs! Highly recommend

More than enough room for our party of 4 adults and 4 children aged 10 to 13. Excellent villa in tip top condition in a gorgeous location. Everything you need within 10 to 15 drive. Whilst there we visited Mijas, Marbella, Feungirola and Gibraltar, and found the location of the villa a fantastic base for our trips. Our children spent the whole time between the pool and the well equipped games room in the basement. Overwhelmed with the wonderful attention of Anneliese and Steve, especially when the bbq broke and they dashed out to buy a new one for us! They have the balance of being attentive but not intrustive just right and that makes all the difference. I would thorougly recommend this villa to other families and will definitely return again.

Fun In the sun

We have just returned for a 5 night stay at this villa and I have to say we had a fabulous stay. 😄 The villa itself is exceptional. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay - whatever the weather!! 👍 With it being October, the weather was a little unpredictable - ☀️⚡️☔️⛅️ but the facilities at the villa allowed us to have fun both inside and outside. 🍷👙🎲⚽️

This was our first stay at an urbanisation of any kind and to be honest, we were a little unsure how this would work for us, but I have to say, we needn't of worried - the location was perfect for us. I would say though, if you want to stay somewhere with lots of night life - this isn't the place for you because it is quite rural - however, it suited our needs very well (and the scenery was amazing) 🗻🌄

Position wise - the villa is situated about 30minutes from Malaga airport ✈️ and about 20 minutes from Mijas (which is an amazing place to visit). The coastline of Benelmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella are all about 30 minutes away. 🏊🏄

The booking process for the villa was very easy. All queries were dealt with in a very timely manner by the manager Anneliese Townsend - who was very helpful right from my initial enquiry, to the time we actually vacated the property at the end of the holiday. Thank you Anneliese for all your help.

I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. 😎💃🍺🍹

Bourganvilla Villa is located on the smart, quiet estate of Las Delicias, set in the beautiful, unspoilt countryside of the Sierra de Mijas and only minutes away from the waterfalls of Barranco Blanco. It is a rural location yet only a few minutes drive from a good choice of excellent restaurants and less than ten minutes drive away from the busy towns of Alhaurin El Grande and Coin, both of which have a good selection of supermarkets, cafes, bars and restaurants.

The popular Alhaurin golf course is minutes away and within only 20 minutes drive from the villa, you will find dozens of other golf courses.

The famous white washed village of Mijas is 20 minutes in the car, a must for a lovely day out and to return to in the evening to experience the tranquility of this gorgeous village once the daytrippers have left!

The beaches and nightlife of Fuengirola are less than half an hour away and only a little further are Torremolinos, Benalmadena and famous Marbella and Puerto Banus for a little glamour.

This villa is the perfect location for a 'get away from it all' holiday, without being cut off, or to use as a relaxing base from which to explore the beautiful countryside and towns of Andalucia.
