Large and airy 4 bedroomed house, enjoying lots of natural light, fully equipped with double-glazed windows (with tilt and turn functionality).

This beautiful property is situated in a quaint hill top village, easily accessible with free on street parking. It is a new build in traditional style using local limestone.

On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen and dining area, a lovely living area along with a relaxing reading room and a shower room. Kitchen is well-equipped including a built in microwave, oven and dishwasher and a five burner hob. The living area includes a 40' LED TV, and welcoming log burning fireplace. Directly outside the living areas there is a large kidney-shaped pool with sun deck and a charcoal BBQ area, with unobstructed views of the quiet rural valley with distant sea views even from the pool - relax and enjoy!

On the first floor there are 1 large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom as well as 2 singles which can be converted into a large double with a separate shower room (shower rooms are all with walk-in shower). All the bedrooms enjoy a balcony and views. Another en-suite bedroom can be found on the second floor which also enjoys the roof terrace. A washroom including a washing machine is also available on the top floor. Free WiFi is also provided throughout the property.

Why Jam Group chose Ta' Għammar

It is very normal that Maltese go to their sister island, Gozo, for a short break. After several years of visiting Gozo with family and friends we just felt that it would be ideal to own a place on the island which has just ranked 3rd in the Tripadvisors Travellers' choice awards.

Even celebrities have discovered and endorsed Gozo's beauty including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who have also produced By the Sea. Gozo's unique beauty and tranquility makes it the perfect hideaway for celebrities.

It is just exactly what one would look for when planning their getaway from the everyday life. The area is extremely peaceful and the views just give a sense of tranquility and fresh air. We wanted to ensure that apart from the natural beauty the villa would also have all the comfort that one would look for and hence, the house was finished to high standards. This would ensure that guests would definitely feel a sense of home away from home.

What makes this villa unique

When looking for a property in Gozo we didn't know exactly what to expect, though we had a very good idea of what we were looking for. After having been round for quite a bit, we came across this house. All we can say is that as soon as we arrived at the kitchen/living/dining area we just looked at the views and stared at them and funnily enough all 3 of us knew that this had to be the one. It just ticked all the boxes and the fireplace just made it oh so complete. When we continued to the first floor we just were really glad that whoever designed this house made the best of the views and ensured that all bedrooms had a view of the valley and the sea beyond. Then we proceeded to the second floor where we just couldn't believe the views surrounding the property.

Although the house is a new built, it was built with big passion and a love to what is typical for Gozo.

Spacious Villa in a peaceful location with great views and pool

Stayed for 10 days beginning of July. Wonderful Villa with a great pool and terrace with great views. Villa has everything you need, great kitchen and BBQ. Has a well stocked small supermarket a 5 minute walk away. Jeff the owner could not have been more helpful and responds to questions very quickly. He arranged transfers from airport to Villa and hire car which was waiting at Villa upon arrival. Recommend getting a car to explore island nothing is more than 20 mins away. Rental company were also a reliable taxi service if you fancy a night out without driving. All in all a wonderful holiday and villa would highly recommended, Gozo is a lovely island and this is a great villa and place to stay and Jeff the host offers a wonderful service.

Gozo means joy and a visit to this relaxed little sister island of Malta should bring exactly that. Gozo is known for its picturesque scenery, pristine coastline and untouched country trails. Baroque churches rise from the heart of small villages, and traditional farmhouses dot the rural landscape.

The real beauty of Gozo, apart from its stunning seascape and interior, lies in the villages. Here, it seems as if time really stood still. The locals treasure their peace and the villages are tranquil, providing a wonderful respite from the modern pace that many of the city dwellers have to endure in their everyday life.

All roads in Gozo lead to Victoria, also known as Rabat, which is where the fortified citadel sits atop a summit. Victoria is not just the geographic heart of Gozo, but also the centre of everyday activity. It manages to combine the bustle of its market and shops with a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

Ghasri is the smallest village in Gozo, however is quite big in area. The village lies cuddled between the hills of Iz-Zebbug and Ghammar. Wied l-Għasri, the Ghasri Valley, is a fjord-looking tiny beach wedged between high cliffs and is a marvellous place for a country walks or bike ride. It is also extremely popular with divers who like to explore the underwater caves. The very narrow and secluded bay is also a haven for those who seek a quiet bathing area.
