“Perfect accomodation in a perfect setting”
A long weekend was made more pleasurable by our lovely accommodation. Based in the Royal William Yard which has an amazing position between the Sound and the River Tamar there is plenty to see and do even when cold grey and raining. Mills Bakery is in respectfully restored naval buidings which retain their heritage. The apartment has a fantastic view and is comfortable warm and quiet with all the facilities you need. After being shown to the apartment we were left to enjoy our break I just wish we could have stayed longer.
We enjoyed a lovely stay and would strongly recommend this to friends.
We had a very good time and we enjoyed very very much the place and everything around!
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return ourselves and we have recommended it to our friends. Thank you.
Fantastic view on the harbour, fine bistro/restaurant only some meters away, bus station at the entrance of Royal William Yard - it had very fine day there! Elderly Couple from Germany
When we arrived, the lady who let checked us in was very helpful and was able to assist with all our questions. Great view and peaceful location. We would stay again and willingly recommend the apartments.
Beautiful apartments in a very beautiful area, would deffinitely love to come back again. Will recommend it to friends. Housekeeper very helpful and friendl.
WE HAD A FANTASTIC STAY AND WOULD DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN.
We thought it was a beautiful apartment in a terrific setting. We had a lovely time and would come again.
The apartments were great - really good value and the check in at midnight was particularly excellent. We also found the whole booking process really easy. The overall complex is stunning and having spent 4 days in Plymouth we felt we'd made the right choice.
Found this apartment by accident! Wonderful location. Leave the car and enjoy delightful, stress free access to town centre by ferry. Good quality and varied choice of eating venues on site. Sadly, I have to leave it all behind . . . but I'll be back!
The location is absolutely fantastic and we enjoyed the wonderful view from our window.
Unfortunately the property was NOT suitable for 4 adults and we felt that for the price we paid this was not fair. We had a double bed which was fine however the room was open to the rest of the room. The other sleeping arrangement was for 2 adults a male and a female who were NOT a couple who had to sleep on a small HARD sofa bed! When you book an apartment for 4 adults you really expect 2 seperate rooms and beds large enough to sleep adults in! We paid £600 for 2 nights so we feel very disappointed by this. The other 2 adults didn't get any sleep which ruined the wedding we were attending the following day! All in all we feel very let down because we were expecting so much more for £600 for 2 nights!!!!
I grew up in this area. I could not have imagined a better redevelopment than this. Very tasteful, yet welcoming, and for this homesick old lady, a real treat!
Suggestion to the Bakery franchise: get an up to date Nespresso Machine which patrons can use themselves: saves staff time and is better at producing good coffee:,plus a lighter hand in the baking department would produce better pastries.
But Drake's Wharf itself is perfect. Thank you! We will be back!
Nice location and nice property, with lovely view.
In good condition apart from the dishwater, which leaked badly, and we had to switch it off to prevent a flood.
(We had specifically asked if the dishwasher worked, after having read previous reviews, and were told that it did work, before we used it.)
Also, only 2 drinking glasses (which were small) were provided.
We stayed with Plumlocations two years ago and we found a lot of problems. These are now completely resolved. We had a great time in a comfortable apartment at a truly fantastic location. Plumlocations now have Phil to greet you and also provide the necessaries you need when you first arrive. Having Phil to help you is a huge plus.
