Spacious ground floor apartment sleeping 6 persons furnished to a very high standard and an ideal home for a relaxing or an activity filled family holiday. Located just a short walk from all the facilities at Praia d'el Rey Golf & Beach Resort, beach, clubhouse, 5* Marriott hotel, tennis courts and kids playground. The Apartment has a large living/dining room with patio doors opening onto the landscaped gardens, fully equipped kitchen also opening to gardens as well as all bedrooms. The large condominium pool, exclusively for owners and guests, is just a few steps from the apartment and set amongst pine and palm trees.

Beautiful, spacious and immaculate apartment

This beautiful apartment was exactly as described, very bright and spacious with large bedrooms and living area and handy en-suite and extra bathroom. Although it faced onto the road side gardens this was a bonus as it caught the morning sun every day whereas rear facing properties are largely in the shade. The beds were very comfortable, lots of wardrobe hanging space and fully equipped kitchen.

We used the pool a few times which was perfect temperarture and although it sometimes got quite busy there was plenty room for everyone and as we were so close we could just take chairs round if all the beds were taken.

Praia De'l Rey is a lovely resort, very pristine and well kept. We ate in the clubhouse restaurant a couple of times, once as a large party of 20 and the service and food was brilliant, no complaints. The terrace is a lovely spot to watch the sunset. The resort could use a mini-market, as we had to drive 10-15 minutes to get supplies, but there is a lovely little lady by the resort entrance who sold fresh fruit and veg. Car hire is essential here, to get to all the best beaches and restaurants outside the resort.

We would definately recommend this property to anyone visiting this area of Portugal.

Praia d'el Rey Golf & Beach Resort nestles alongside the fantastic beaches of Portugal's Silver Coast. As one of Europe's most prestigious golf course, golf is the main attraction. Other golf courses such as Royal Obidos [2016 European Golf Resort of the Year] are just a couple minutes drive. In addition there are 7 tennis courts, a kids playground, a fully supervised kids club and the Marriott Hotel offers gymnasium and spa facilities.

Surfing is also famous in the region with several schools close by where equipment can be hired and lessons arranged.

Obidos Lagoon provides calm waters for young children and a nature trail surrounds the lagoon.

The medieval town of Obidos is close by which is a must to soak up the local traditional atmosphere. Further afield there is Alcobaca, Batalha, and the 'must not miss' Fatima with it's religious significance.
