Vinciluna, a little jewel of a house, is situated in the magnificent scenery of the hilly countryside of Cortona, one of the most picturesque and charming towns in Tuscany less than 10 minutes away, surrounded by the beautiful Val d'Esse, an area east of Cortona rich in churches, archaeological sites and Renaissance villas that extends along the river of the same name as far as Umbria. Vinciluna is a typical Tuscan farmhouse in open-face stone, neat and cosy indoors with a spacious rustic kitchen and charming bedrooms with antique furniture and romantic wrought-iron beds. Enveloped by the silvery foliage of olive trees, the garden, with its outdoor living areas and panoramic swimming pool overlooking the peaceful, green countryside, guarantees unforgettable moments of peace and relaxation in an intimate atmosphere. The nearby shopping centres and major road links are within easy reach, facilitating excursions, dedicated to culture, art and typical cuisine, to the major towns of Tuscany, such as Siena, Florence and Arezzo, and nearby Umbria, such as Perugia, Assisi and Orvieto. Just short trips away are the famous rural villages around Siena: San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino in the Val d'Orcia and the magnificent Chianti area. NB. The property stands in a tiny hamlet with 2 other houses, in one of which, about 30 m away, live the owners who are available for any of the guests' needs to whom, however, complete privacy is guaranteed.

The house has only one floor. The main entrance is through a French window into the living room with fireplace and satellite TV connected to a rustic kitchen with dining table. The living room leads on to the sleeping area consisting of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with joinable beds, both with direct access to the garden and served by a bathroom with shower.
In the property, consisting of approximately 1,500 square metres of land and bordered by a broad expanse of olive trees along the side of the entrance and along the entire perimeter of the garden, alternate lawn areas and paved surfaces, enhanced with bright, colourful potted plants. At the back of the garden, in front of the main French window, is a large furnished patio with sitting and dining area where guests can enjoy typical Tuscan delicacies in the open air. From here a flight of steps leads to a wooden gazebo, furnished with table and chairs, in the pool area. The car park is located at the entrance to the property, close to the house.
Open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October, the pool, framed along its perimeter by a broad expanse of olive trees, is situated on terracing at the back of the house, which is about 15 m away, and is reached along a paved path or a short flight of steps. The rectangular pool with Roman steps measures 4 x 4,5m with the depth varying from 1.20 m to 1.80 m. The pool is lined in light-coloured PVC and has a stone border. Purification is chlorine. All around the pool, in the sunbathing area, are sunbeds and an umbrella while close by, a wooden gazebo, paved in terracotta, has a table for alfresco meals in the pool area.
