At the heart of the country of William the Conqueror and near the landing beaches, 5 km from Asnelles-sur-Mer and 7 km from Arromanches, in a small peaceful village in Normandy, our property has two houses for rent, fully independent of one another: JONAGOLD, spacious country house (10 people) and GOLDEN, Norman cottage suitable for small groups and families (4-6). 1 / JONAGOLD: Old farm of the nineteenth century, spacious and charming house, in Caen stone, with an enclosed courtyard walls, a garden without screws screw and a large meadow adjoining, forming an exceptionally quiet environment.
The house has 5 bedrooms (10-11 beds), all on the first floor:
-1 Large double bedroom (160 bed) with a bathroom (toilet, sink)
-1 Bedroom with two single beds (90 beds),
-1 Bedroom with a double bed (bed 140)
-1 Large triple room (1 bed 160 and 1 bed 90)
with a shower,
-1 Independent studio room (160 bed) with a bathroom (shower, toilet).
A large bathroom and a separate shower room complete
these amenities and serve not equipped with shower rooms.
On the ground floor, ground floor with yard and garden, distribute
Jonagold main parts: a large kitchen with dining area overlooking the
courtyard, dining room and living room with fireplace opening onto a terrace and a
garden protected from the gaze turned towards the south. You can enjoy a furniture
garden and barbecue for your friendly and family meals outdoors.
2 / GOLDEN: charming house, like Norman cottage in Caen stone, completely restored, completely independent and not overlooked, in the middle of a garden in a rural environment. Ideal for a stay of 4 to 6 people. Large single room on the ground floor with a large window overlooking the garden. Modern kitchen, very well equipped. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms (1 140cm bed and 3 90cm beds) and a bathroom-toilet. 1 WC on the ground floor. The sofa bed in the lounge provides additional sleeping for 2 people (140cm).
The campaign offers around the house and multiple paths to travel on foot, bike or horseback, allowing in particular to join the sea in a few kilometers.
By car you go to Bayeux, Arromanches and the beach of Asnelles in minutes:
- The town of Bayeux is very attractive with its pretty streets and old houses, markets, shops and restaurants, its beautiful cathedral and museum is exposed the famous Tapestry 70 m long which tells the saga of William of Normandy off to conquer England...
- Arromanches show you the remains of what was once the heart of the operations of 'The Longest Day': The largest artificial harbor built by the Allies in 1944, and will reveal the preparations for the most daring military operation of all time! The sea is beautiful.
- If you want to give yourself a moment at the beach, the coast is lined with beautiful sandy beaches, vast and wild enough. Asnelles is closest but there are many more!
You will need less than half an hour to get to Caen (where different visits you: the castle of the Dukes of Normandy, abbeys, the Memorial for Peace, etc.), as well as Port en Bessin (fish market every morning) or to visit the sector of Omaha Beach and the famous American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, German Long battery or one of the many museums that dot the coast and commemorate the landing of June 6, 1944 and the Battle of Normandy.
A few minutes by car also, the charming village of Creully is the closest supply point.
