What makes this Condo unique
This 3rd floor beachfront condo is unique as it has a private poolside cabana and garage with a full size ping pong table. It's located closer to the beach than most other condos . It's a small resort of only 15 condos. It's close to the restaurants and shops, just a short walk or cycle away.

Property is wonderful for families. The garage/cabana is the best bonus, as you can park the bikes and sandy beach chairs, etc., without dragging them into the condo.
The excellent and the not-so
The location of White Sands is completely superior to any other place we have ever stayed on Sanibel. The water line is about 70 yards from the complex - really close!
The complex is exceptionally well kept and clean.
The condo itself is very well insulated. We didn't hear noise one from inside the unit.
The pool looked sparkling clean.
There is a garage! And though we didn't use it, the cabana attached to the garage is a great feature and would be a bonus for anyone who needs the additional space.
The view from the condo, which is why we chose it, is just awesome. It truly can't be beat.
The condo is clean and well organized. Not one bug anywhere.
The unit is large. It's wide as most units are not and, in addition to the two bedrooms, two baths, den and kitchen, there is a bonus room on the street side.
There are plenty of towels - and they are in good shape. Ditto with linens.
The kitchen is very well equipped, pots, pans, dishware, silverware. Bring your own salt and pepper.
The furniture is in good shape, clean and comfortable.
Master bath is super, great shower head.
On arrival, the slider doors in den and master were not sealed around the outside, so the red tide was free to come right in and stay. We spent the first night with wet washcloths over our faces in order to breathe. The doors were taped the second day, a temporary fix that did help.
The beds are h.a.r.d. This is a personal preference, so some may very well enjoy.
Kitchen cabinet storage for guests is limited to 2 1/2 shelves in a closed pantry, perhaps not enough for those wanting to cook in for more than two people.
The large TV in the den started shorting the third day of our stay. There are other TVs in the bedrooms, but...
Guest bath tub hard to seal; shower head old.
We lost all of our food in the refrigerator to spoilage even though we adjusted the temp. The freezer is works fine, but ice left in a glass in the fridge section will melt in 30 minutes.
The best we could tell, the AC is pre-programmed to run for 30 minutes, then shut off, day and night. It's no problem in the daytime, but even on a cool night at the end of November, it's cooler outside than in after the 30 minutes.
There's no relying on "Paul," one of the two people listed to call for help. He doesn't want to be called a second time.
Owner offered two extra days to make up for the red tide/unsealed sliders issue. We were too uncomfortable with A/C and fridge problem to stay.
Hi Mary. Thank you for your kind review.
You were my first guest , I’m very sorry about the teething issues with the fridge, AC and sliding doors. All are now fixed. The red tide is gone, hopefully for a few years🤞.
Kind Regards Michael
