Country life in Perthshire

  • 5 of 5

The careful and thorough renovation of the old Coach House has resulted in a clean modern and impressive country retreat. Although access was tricky for strangers to Scottish country lanes, the resulting country calm is worth it. Animal lovers and pet tolerance go with the associated and neighbouring RDA facility. With the city of Perth close by and some wonderful woodland walks this was an ideal base for our week-long family visit to the area

Great visit again!!

  • 5 of 5

Our second stay at this location and another great experience. Coach House 8 was comfortable and well laid out with everything you would need for your stay. Good location with nice walks for taking dog out and close to Perth and Dundee. Looking forward to coming back again next year!!

Good holiday

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Coach House 8. Well appointed property, in a peaceful location, with plenty to do for all tastes in the area. We particularly apppreciated having the stables close by, as well as great walks and mountain biking on the doorstep. Perth is very close and is an easy city to get around with a good range of amenities. Nevertheless the location of the house has a very rural feel as it nestles between Deuchny and Kinnoull hills. Kitchen reasonably well equipped for basic cooking but utensils not good quality (and we couldn't find a fish slice!). TVs, Sky, DVD player all first class. A small selection of books, DVDs would have been welcome. We didn't find the beds particularly comfortable, and, given the general standard of the cottage, the double bed could be upgraded to king-size. The internet was very poor - slow for basic webpages, and unusable for any streaming, YouTube etc.. Overall, a very restful and good quality experience.

Lovely late spring date

  • 5 of 5

Tower view is in great location, set in some lovely countryside but only 10 minutes drive from Perth. We stayed in couch house 8, the photos on the website are a true reflection of the accommodation. We had a lovely break & would definitely recommend.

Family break

  • 5 of 5

The best way to describe this property is by a comment made by our son: " I could live here all the time! "

The location was quiet and peaceful. There is plenty of room for a family of four and the dog!

Facilities: all you could need is provided. Beds and carpets warm and comfy.

The welcome pack which is greatly appreciated, with tea coffee milk and an Easter egg for my son.

Riding stables next door were friendly and welcoming. They were very accommodating to providing high-quality riding lessons for children.

We will definitely be returning to be is well priced holiday cottages.

Thank you for an excellent week !
