About Susan Brown

The Towerview Coach houses are a family run buisiness owned by my parents Geoff and Joyce Brown. I am their daughter Susan. As a family we have stayed in and arround Perth all our lifes so know the area really well. I have previously worked in retail, Catering and been working in the hoilday rental business for over 14years. My job is property manager, I am guests first contact when enquiring or booking our Coach houses and will assist in anyway I can. I also make sure that the houses are up to the high standard I myself would expect a holiday cottage to be.

My father is a joiner to trade, he started up his own house building company in 1970 (G.S.Brown Construction Ltd) which is now well established, building their reputation on high quality affordable housing. He is the current owner of St.Johnstone Football club here in Perth and was the chairmain for over 25years before handing over the reins to my brother Steven. A new stadium, Mcdermid Park was built and opened in 1987. We highly recommend a lunch in the restaurant opened to the public monday to friday.

On the surrounding land around the coach houses they keep horses, some race horses and some that are used in the newly opened kinfuans stables. The stables have been opened as a charity riding for the disabled (RDA). Private lessons can be taken with all funds going to the charity. We have been delighted with the positive feed back from guests staying at The Coach houses and get great pleasure in seeing the faces of the children and adults with disabled and learning difficulties having such a great experience.

Here at The Towerview Coach houses we want everyone to feel welcome and if there is anything we can do to help assits with during your stay to let us know.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

Why Susan Brown chose Perthshire

There was no place like home for us to have our holiday cottages. Careful thought and attention has been given during renovations. We are forever maintainig the properties and keeping them up to date with everyday essentials. The location, comfort and outstanding archetecture on the B listed properties offers guests a unique stay from any other holiday. As a guest at the coach houses you will be treated like family not a booking reference number like most major holiday agencies. We have a high precentage of guests that return every year which speaks for itself.

What makes this cottage unique

The Unique Benefits in staying at The Towerview Coach houses is the fact the central location offers guest the best of both worlds. Stay in comfort in beautiful scenic coutryside surroundings just 2 miles from the busy city life of Perth and swift access to all major cities whether site seeing or shopping. The added attraction is The Kinfauns stables where guests just have to walk over the courtyard to get to the stables for Riding lessons or a hack. There are walks right on the doorstep of the coach houses including the walk up to The Famous Victoria Folly that has outstanding views over Perthshire, A must See.

Beautiful and unusual properties

  • 5 of 5

The coach houses are beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. Just a short distance from the Kinnoul Hill walks, which offer breath taking views over the River Tay, Perth and beyond.

Everyone we met were friendly and helpful keen to ensure we had a perfect holiday. Our teenage boys went trout fishing and horse riding, conveniently on the same site as the Coach Houses.

We spent two weeks exploring surrounding areas, only 40mins from Sterling castle and just under an hour from Edinburgh and St Andews.

We would definitely recommend staying at all the Coach Houses and we aim to come back next year!

Comfortable stay

  • 5 of 5

Due to a delay in relocating we needed somewhere urgently to stay and were very fortunate to come across the Coachhouse. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, clean, well equipped, warm, within a practical layout. Would highly recommend it.
