April Trip

  • 5 of 5

We highly recommend the coachhouses having stayed on two previous occassions. Although originally from Scotland we have been based in England for many years. The coachhouse offers good space for larger families or groups and the facilities provided are all you need (fully kitted kitchen for example). The support from Susan and her team, before and during our stay, and the community spirit with other guests and their pets, are other things to highlight and make our time there enjoyable. In addition the central location is ideal if you want to combine visits to the likes of Edinburgh or Stirling as well as being a short drive from the highlands of Scotland. Locally we enjoy the walks upto Kinnoull Hill and the Tower giving great views of Perth and the river Tay. There are great trails for walkers and mountain bikers and Perth with it's theatre and museum should be on your list of things to do. We always leave with the wish to return and spend more time exploring!

A convenient location for our purpose (a short visit).

  • 5 of 5

We were warm and comfortable in spite of the cold, wet weather. We appreciated the welcome pack so we would make hot drinks on arrival. We had travelled by train and hired a car so had to do shopping for provisions after we arrived. There was a list of supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and places of interest to visit. There were some games and books to read.

Directions were given for a short cut into Perth. It was up a steep hill with a lot of speed bumps but it did make it much easier to get into the city.
