Close to major towns for sightseeing and shopping as well as championship golf courses for the odd round or two! The apartment has been completely refurbished in November 2015 includes air conditioning/heating and is fully equipped for your holiday including internet and WIFI facility. The central grassed area has two swimming pools (adult and children’s pool) and is a real sun trap.

Lovely place ! Adequate facilities

Lovely positioned apartment. Been going to complex for a good few years now. This has views of sea from part of balcony and not overlooked so very private. Pool area is fab and has lifeguard during summer. Apartment spacious with everything you need, great air con throughout and large tv. It's all quite new in side which is great has a new shower with a cook radio BUT attention to cleaning detail was lacking. Needs a good ole spring clean!!!!!... shame as would have used this place again and was told to empty the kitchen bin as we left which seemed odd but we did as requested.

Great appartment for a family holiday

Our party of four includ8ng two girls had a great week in August weather was hot so the air conditioned rooms were always welcome on return.,

Couldn't ask more from the accommodation or welcome we received and the pool although always in use never felt crowded.

Lots of restaurants and beaches nearby which meant our girls had a great time .

Would recommend if you want a great holiday in great accommodation.

Great apartment, fully equipped.

Great apartment ! Lovely modern space with wi-fi which was a bonus for us. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is underground parking and the whole complex made us feel safe and secure.

The terrace, with afternoon and evening sun, is an ornithologists dream! With beautiful views over the surrounding hills, we spent many an hour watching at least 20 different species of bird, including an Osprey hawk that landed with a fish!

The location is perfect for visiting Ronda, Caseres and Gaucin villages. Gibraltar is a 20 minute drive.

Local beach bars are within 5/10 minute walk, all serving great food at reasonable prices.

There are 2 supermarkets nearby ( 2 min drive ).

The village of Castillo is about a 30 minute walk along the coast path and has many restaurants and bars. a lovely traditional village.

We had a great holiday and will definitely be returning. Thankyou.

Great beach bars , floria was great with a good prawn Pil Pil and live music . The evening walk along the beach ending at duquesa port was a great way to end the day ,

Lovely Relaxing Holiday in the sun

Excellent value for money. Apartment had everything you need for a family holiday. Booking process was smooth and simple and had no problems accessing the apartment which is on a very secure gated complex. Would have been helpful to have a folder with various instructions/recommendations for the apartment and surrounding area things like the times for the pool etc and where to go for supermarkets, restaurants, best beaches and so on. You will definitely need a car unless you are happy to use one quiet beach and the fabulous Floria beach bar as the walk into La Duquesa with children is probably too long and also not really an option at night when returning home. We hired a car direct from Malaga Airport so had it for the entire holiday which was great as we were able to do some fabulous day trips and see what this beautiful area has to offer, e.g. Gibraltar, Ronda, Estepona and many more. I would definitely return to this area again and this apartment. The only suggestion I would make is that there are a few things which are looking a little it worn and probably require replacing, but all in all a beautiful area and complex and fantastic value for money. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your review. I will take on board what you have said with regard to a folder and make sure one is prepared and ready for the 2016 bookings. You are right in your comment about the apartment looking a little worn in places and we have already arranged for a local building firm to replace the kitchen and bathroom and give a complete redec' of the apartment. We are also replacing all of the furniture and placing 2 new 42" LCD TVs in the lounge and bedroom. We are also going to get the internet connection set up for wifi. I'm very pleased you enjoyed your holiday and the area. Should you choose to book with us next year we will of course offer you a loyalty discount of 10% of the rental charge for 2016.

The apartments are situated in well maintained landscaped gardens that are all enclosed in a fenced off community area for increased security and privacy, the complex encompasses a large communal pool that is perfect for kids and adults alike. The apartments are luxury 2 bedroom brand new apartments which are self catered, with lifts & underground an secure garage, 100 yards from the beach, 2 golf courses adjacent & another 41 nearby, between Gibraltar & Marbella, available all year, the lovely marina port in Duquesa only 5 minutes drive away, the apartment is good base for going around Costa del Sol & visiting Moorish towns such as the Alhambra.

PUERTO DE LA DUQUESA: 3 minutes drive from the apartment.

(You can also stroll to Duquesa along the beach – mostly along a paved promenade, which takes about 30 minutes). A picturesque marina which really needs to be seen to be appreciated! Attractive promenades encircle this splendid marina full of gently bobbing boats. A wide variety of excellent restaurants, bars and cafes provide food and drinks to tempt every palate – all at a reasonable price. Many of the establishments now have their own regular programs of entertainment in the evenings, particularly during the peak months. Just outside the marina a small area caters for the needs of the younger visitors with a ‘bouncy castle’, mini-trampolines and a small train which travels round the area. To the left and right of the marina are beautiful beaches where you can hire a sun-lounger for the day and sample various delicacies, such as the freshly caught fish, at one of the beach bars (chirinquitos) which are open during the Summer months. Dolphin trips, boat hire and microlight flights can all be booked at the marina.

SABINILLAS: 5 minutes drive from the apartment. An authentic Spanish fishing village with a wide beach, long promenade and a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafes where you can enjoy a drink or a meal overlooking the sea. At certain times of the year you can visit the ‘Feria’ (fair) or join in with the celebrations at one of the many splendid and colourful ‘Fiestas’. Five minutes inland from Sabinillas a very large and popular Sunday market is held.

ESTEPONA: 15 minutes drive from the apartment with a small marina, long promenade and excellent beach, restaurants and bars. Across the road from the beach you can roam around the many shops or stop for a drink in one of the authentic Spanish squares (plazas).

SOTOGRANDE: A 15 minute drive in the direction of Gibraltar will take you to Sotogrande, one of the most luxurious sports and residential developments in Europe, favoured by the rich and famous. Unspoilt beaches, a world class marina and incredible bars, restaurants, polo clubs and golf courses provide a unique, up-market experience. Visit on a Sunday morning and view the craft market situated in the most amazing spot!

MANILVA & CASARES: Just a short drive into the hills is the beautifully authentic village of Manilva and the white-washed hillside houses of Casares, both of which are well worth a visit. The Roman Baths in Manilva, have developed into a popular tourist attraction due to their great historical significance.

Gibraltar.....Marbella...... Puerto Banus All less than a half-hour drive from the apartment and offering a spectacular day/evening out which, quite simply, should not be missed! (If you prefer to sit back and enjoy the scenery you could even take the bus or travel on one of the locally organised ‘coach trips’).

SHOPPING CENTRES: La Canada in Marbella, El Corte Ingles in Puerto Banus, Orange Square in Marbella, a variety of popular English shops in Gibraltar (including a ‘Morrisons’ supermarket).

GOLF COURSES: There are numerous golf courses, in spectacular settings, within this area, including the internationally renowned ‘Valderrama’ and ‘San Roque’ (which are only a short drive away). The closest course to the apartment is ‘La Duquesa Golf and Country Club’ which is located just a 4 minute drive away.

Other places to visit include…

Granada, Ronda, Mijas, Benahavis, Cadiz, Seville …..

Theme Park and Sealife Centre (in Benalmadena), Zoo in Fuengerola, Selwo Adventure Park, ‘Fast ferry to Tangiers and of course, Malaga: A fascinating city with a great cultural history!
