Few people can say they have stayed in a holiday villa that uses an ancient watchtower as its inspiration. But you’ll be able to say exactly that if you choose to stay in the Villa Atalaya. This two level villa provides superbly appointed holiday accommodation, set in the sprawling Sicilian countryside.
One of the visual highlights is the stone staircase that takes you from the ground floor to the sleeping accommodation upstairs.
Villa Atalaya can accommodate 12 people in four double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. There are also four bathrooms in the property, making it the perfect base to use for a group of friends who want to go on holiday together. It is also suitable for larger family groups.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are superbly presented, but the treats continue as you explore the ground floor. Take the lounge area for example, which features a spectacular fireplace and grate, set at an angle to the rest of the room. The large open plan lounge area is ideal for a large party of people – you certainly won’t feel crowded when you enjoy Villa Atalaya together.
Every detail of this property is appealing, rustic and well suited to its surroundings. The generously proportioned kitchen is ideal for cooking meals together, while there are lots of options available for dining together. A small group can enjoy a bite together at the kitchen table; alternatively why not head outside and celebrate the long evenings together as the sun sets? There’s a long table complete with two benches, or else you can settle down in the sofa and armchairs provided in another outside area.
Villa Atalaya wouldn’t be complete without an equally large pool, and you get just that when you book a stay here. Its unusual shape is perfect for allowing several groups of sun loungers to nestle in corners here and there, offering the chance for shade as well as sun, depending on your mood. Where will you settle down when you arrive at Villa Atalaya?
