This development is situated in Jamestown Park, Holetown, in the heart of Barbados' west coast. The apartments are only a 4 minute walk to Settlers beach; also within walking distance is the very upscale shopping complex Lime Grove, where you can find the finest high end retailers, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes and a cinema. The apartments have been built with the emphasis on outdoor living, with open-plan spaces and full-width sliding doors leading onto large private patios, in addition to a shared swimming pool on site.

The apartments come equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. The bedrooms have air conditioning, additional ceiling fans and a wardrobe. The American style kitchen and living spaces, also suited with ceiling fans, means you'll have a comfortable space to enjoy TV and WiFi. This is a duplex style apartment, kitchen/lounge on the ground floor with the bedrooms on the upper floor. The bedrooms , both with aircon, each has its own en-suite bathroom with modern vessel bowls and each one opens completely onto a romantic private upper-level balcony with comfortable seating. The lower level of the apt boasts a large, open concept living space and American style kitchen that also opens completely to a private level lower terrace. There is a flat screen TV, Full English TV with Sports and Films, internet, local telephone, air-con, private parking, a communal pool, and all the furnishings necessary for an extremely comfortable stay. Strictly no smoking inside or outside, there is an allocated smoking table beside the pool.

We live in Cornwall in the UK, my husband is a mining engineer and I run a successful rental business, started in 2005, mainly in Spain, but now branching out to Barbados. We have 2 daughters, one is a nurse in London, and the other is an OT working in Ireland, so now they are sorted hopefully will be able to spend some more time in our lovely apartment!

Diese zweigeschossige Wohnung befindet sich in einer sehr gepflegten Wohngegend in Holetown. Bis zum Strand, oder zum Stadtzentrum benötigt man nur 10 Minuten. Das Wohnhaus ist äußerst gepflegt, modern und sauber. Die Wohnung ist modern und gemütlich eingerichtet und es mangelt an nichts, um einen Traumurlaub zu verbringen. Schön verweilen kann man auf der großen Terrasse im Unter- oder Obergeschoß. Zum Außengelände gehört ein kleiner Pool. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

WOW! what a fantastic apartment....

If, like us, you are a little nervous at booking a place to stay for the first time, well fear not if booking The Ixora Kerensa. One of ten other apartments, set in a quiet location with a lovely pool, and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, high end shops and of course the beach it had everything we needed to make our stay so enjoyable.

On arrival we were met by Agnes, Apartment Manager, who was so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Whilst we chose to eat out most of the time, the apartment is certainly well equipped to allow you to cook and enjoy alfresco dining.

For us the only challenge was the very narrow stairs to the upstairs bedrooms which after a while we did get used to.

We would highly recommend you stay you will not be disappointed - we will be returning.

Thank you Joan, wonderful time spent in your apartment and of course Barbados is such a wonderful holiday location.

Modern villa by the beach

This was our first time staying in this beautiful villa and we loved it. Jamestown is a quiet, safe neighborhood and conveniently located near the beach, restaurants and shopping. The villa itself is modern, clean and comfortable. The apartment complex is secured and quiet. There was hardly anyone at the communal pool. Communication with Joan is great as well as with Agnes and the cleaning lady. We have already booked for next year.

Fabulous accommodation in a great location!

Amazing 2 bed split level apartment with everything one could wish for! Spotless, modern, spacious and within walking distance to the beach and Holetown. Second time we have stayed, and would highly recommend it. The owner is very helpful too - couldn't wish for a better experience. Thank you Joan!

Fabulous Location

Fantastic location for those that want to walk to the beach, limegrove and restaurants. Excellent communication with the owner throughout. The description of the property was spot on. The accommodation was spotless and as a bonus even showed the BT and Sky live football!!!. Enjoyed the monkey watching at breakfast in the palm trees.

Amazing 2 bedroom apartment in Holetown

Lovely apartment in Holetown, very modern and couldn’t fault in one bit!!

Loved the daily visits from the monkeys which we could view from our balcony.

Walking distance to the local beach and shops although we did hire a car to explore the rest of the island.

We will deffo return!

Absolutely lovely

My wife and have just returned from 2 very enjoyable weeks holiday at Ixora. The apartment really is a gem. On two floors, it is contemporary in design and not only beautifully furnished inside but also to the upper and lower large patio areas. We chose to dine in local restaurants but for those looking for a self catering holiday it contains every amenity. My only criticism being English is I think Joan should have forewarned us to take electrical adapters.

For those who do not to hire a hire car the apartment centrally located and only a short 7/8 mins. walk to shops/restaurants in Holetown and the nearest beaches.

In essence, this is an absolutely lovely, highly recommended apartment
