Charming apartment is located in the Monti district, a popular area close to the Coloseum, and can host up to 6 people. Tastefully finished with period and design features, it is located on the fourth floor with elevator and it comprises a large living room with sofa bed for two and fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one bedroom for 3 people with mezzanine and another bathroom. The apartment is very bright and quiet and its location is fantastic: just down the road you will find many of the most popular restaurants and trendy shops of the area and in the nice Piazza Madonna dei Monti you can take an aperitivo with the many locals who gather here every evening. There is also a metro stop close by. If you are looking for a characteristic accommodation this is place for you.

My family and I loved our stay. The six of us slept comfortably in the spacious condo. The AC was a delightful contrast to the August heat. The Kitchen and new refrigerator where superb. And with a Conad market a couple streets away it made making meals a breeze. The property sits on a quiet street with a great restaurant/pizzeria at the corner, another with live music, and a Gelato shop too. Easy walking distance to Rome's many attractions. Best decision we made.
the perfect apartment
We really enjoyed our apartment in Rome. The neighborhood that it is located, Monti, is trendy and happening and very close to things like the Coliseum, the Roman forum and the Palatine. Also close to the Bocca della Verite (the mouth of truth!). And there are delicious restaurants and bars super close by. There is a great gelato place a stone's throw away, literally (FataMorgana). The place is clean, easy to use with directions for everything, a handy book that gives you tips and instructions, we had a really nice young lady check us in, and the location couldn't have been nicer. We loved it and would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
Needs some TLC
First this place is in a great neighborhood. Outside the door is 20 great restaurants and located in a nice hip area. Totally safe to walk at all hours and close to the Coloseum and other sites.
The apartment is on the 4th floor, is quiet and has an elevator.
The downside of the place is it needs a good cleaning. The toilet seat in one bathroom is broken and the shower knob in the other bathroom is broken. Shower curtains are moldy and the floor needs a good mopping. Beds are really hard and they should invest in a few pillows. The picture of the place is a little deceiving as there is no rug and only one bean bag chair. It does have air conditioning which is a great plus.
I don’t really think I could give it a solid referral until they fix some of those items listed. If they do then I would say it would be a great place to stay but until then just don’t think the cleanliness was there. Sorry but honest review
we are sorry you wasn't satisfied with the cleaning, if you had told us we would have sent an extra cleaning. After you left, we repaired the toilet seat and the shower knob: also for this issue, if you had told us during your stay we ould have intervened immediately. we are glad you enjoyed the neighborhood and the apartment
Pleasant, clean, quiet
The apartment was clean, nice, and quiet. A little bit of a timing issue on check-in (the cleaners were still working later in the afternoon) but it was easily resolved. Communication with the hosts was great, and they helped us coordinate a car to the airport, etc.
Located close to Forum, etc. Lots of restaurants near by. We'd stay here again.
Lovely apartment, well looked after, helpful and easygoing hosts, in great neighbourhood. No complaints at all!
Via Clementina 5, Roma
We have just returned home from our 7 day stay (Sept.29-Oct.5, 2017) and loved it here! This is a great apartment in a great area in Monti! The Colosseum is literally right up the street! Walking distance to EVERYTHING! The Forum, Palatine Hill, Vittorio Emanuele II Monument are all right there! So many cute little restaurants are in the immediate area and all over the city. Just across town (I loved this area as well) is the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, high end shopping, dining and so much more, too much to list! You are close enough to walk across the river to Isola Tiberina and into Trastevere which is filled with even more history and restaurants! I recommend a Hop On Hop off Bus Tour. Nice way to see the city and to get to The Vatican which is what we did. We walked back to the apartment from Vatican City, and although we did it, I would not recommend it. My feet did not appreciate that decision. For as much as we saw during our stay (and we saw a lot) we didn't see nearly everything! So many more churches, land marks and Museums to cover!
As far as the apartment itself, it was very nice.It could have been a tad bit cleaner though. It is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen for cooking and eating in, there is a hair dryer, an iron, extra blankets and pillows, a washing machine, but no dryer. Clothes line for hanging. There is only one tv and it's in the big bedroom, not the common area, which is kind of weird. Honestly though, you won't have time for tv! You will always be out exploring. It could have been better stocked with toilet paper (especially), paper towels and laundry detergent. We had to go out and buy ours. Obviously bring your own personal items (shampoo, conditioner, soap and such).
With that said, I would definitely recommend Via Clementina!
In this area, with its ancient monuments and its fascinating ruins, you can follow the footsteps of the Roman Empire. The Palatine, the Circus Maximus, and the huge Imperial Forum make us take a step back and re-live the life of the Roman empire at the time. High above the Imperial Forum stands one of the seven hills of Rome, the Capitol, where they reside today the offices of the mayor of Rome and the Capitoline Museums. The focal point of the area is without a doubt the Colosseum, the most important symbol of Rome welcomes thousands of visitors each year. The district is very large, ranging from areas of intensive urbanization from the nineteenth century (such as that between the Interior Ministry and the Quirinale) to the archaeological park area consisting of the Opium Hill - Colosseum - Ludus Magnus - the Forum of Nerva - Forum and Markets Trajan. The “Rione Monti”, the area around Via Nazionale and Via Cavour is particularly picturesque and very popular: it's worth a walk to Via del Boschetto, Via dei Serpenti, via Panisperna and Via Baccina, streets full of craft shops, trendy and typical shops. The center of the nightlife is the square of the Madonna dei Monti, near the homonymous church, which also serves as a gathering place for local residents and occasional visitors.
