Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday apartment in Val Claret - Three flats, Tignes Val Claret

These apartments are privately owned and carefully selected to provide easy access to both skiing and other resort facilities. There are two smaller flats to sleep 4 and a one double bedroom flat plus a separate bunk bedroom to sleep 6 in the Val Claret area of Tignes. We also have a flat close to the Funival in Val d'Isere to sleep 7, Property Number 9854.

All apartments are very close to the lifts, including high speed underground railways. Hameau du Borsat is ski in / ski out, while the Chalet Club flats are connected to the Funicular and Col de Fresse high speed chair linking with Val d'Isere by a short rope tow.

We also have Property Number 9854 in Val d'Isere, a well equipped apartment with dishwasher, fridge, four ring halogen hob, microwave oven/grill, slow cooker, kettle, radio, CD player, double bedroom, bunk bed room and two divans in the living room which sleeps three, all with duvets. Bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Parking available under the building.

Tignes - Val Claret, Hameau du Borsat - Sleeps 6: The Hameau du Borsat flat in Tignes Val Claret has just been completely refurbished to Tignes '3 Pillows' standard with all decor, furnishings and fittings replaced to a very high standard. The living room has a divan (which converts to a double or two single beds).

Tignes - Val Claret: In the Chalet Club, we have two studios to sleep up to 4. There is a pair of bunk beds and a wardrobe in the entrance and a divan which converts into a double or two single beds in the living room. Flat 51, which has recently been extensively refurbished, has a double aspect balcony facing South and West, while Flat 24 lacks a balcony, but offers extra space inside. Good location

It would appear that the majority of apartments in the area are small. Our apartment was compact, but it was very well equipped, well laid out, comfortable and clean. It was situated at the far end of Tignes Val Claret, so it was lovely and peaceful with a pleasant view. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every evening. The owner provided excellent customer service throughout our dealings with him. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

The area of Tignes is a fantastic place to spend a summer holiday. The scenery is spectacular. We went there for the hiking and bought an excellent pack of 25 walks, each with their own leaflet, from the Tourist office. It is a designated bike park with endless tracks to choose from. Around Tignes there are so many activities for all the family eg a huge water slide, tennis, beach volleyball, canoeing and crazy golf, to name a few. You can walk to the funicular and cable car up to the glacier on Grand Motte, where there is skiing and snowboarding, even in July. We only ate out one evening, but the food at the Pignatta Italian restaurant was superb.

Great family apartment in excellent location

Great family apartment with good layout and extremely well equipped. Location quiet but with excellent access to skiing and shopping. Friendly and helpful owner who reposnds quickly to queries and requests. Would definitely stay again or recommend to friends.

Fantastic value Ski in Ski out Tignes Property.

Fantastic location giving direct access to the main lifts in Val Claret (including the free ones) and easy access to Val d’isere providing plenty of terrain options. Lovely balcony, functional kitchen and dining area, great shower with plenty of hot water. Ski lockers are a convenient bonus (at the end of the day) as is the lift system within the residence. Great reasonably priced bakery opposite the residence and ski rental places within a stones throw (ideal for beginners). Affordable ski in ski out self catering property, would definitely rent again.

Great Location

We stayed in the apartment in Hameau du Borsat, Tignes Val Claret over the Easter week and had a great holiday. Chris was very helpful and gave some good recommendations. The location is great, right on the slope so you can ski right back. Val Claret is a great village with good bars and restaurants and a better than average supermarket. The apartment was great, compact but all of these apartments are, we had everything we needed and the kitchen had all of the things you need to self cater. We had a great week, good snow, excellent skiing and would definitely return.

Nice clean apartment in an excellent location for boarding in and out of. It was a good size for six adults.The apartment made our holiday as well as the excellent snow conditions in Tignes, will definately return to this apartment.

This apartment is in a perfect location for the slopes, and if you don't mind a bit of off piste skiing then you can get right back to your front door at the end of the day!

Once again the apartment is well maintained, clean and tidy. The apartment is a bit of a squeeze for 6 people but still manageable, its just finding space to store all the suitcases! The block is quiet so sleeping is not a problem at night, this apartment also has a good size balcony with lovely views.

All in all another great holiday it Tignes with c&d ski thanks again

Owner's Response: Comments are much appreciated. Regarding the suitcases, we do have a "Cave" on the ground floor where cases can be stored. All our clients have keys and we do mention it in our information pack.

Our flats are in Val Claret, the highest point of Tignes at 2,200m . There is easy access to Val d'Isere's skiing from Val Claret by either of two high speed 6-person chair lifts. The Grande Motte glacier can be reached by the underground 'Funiculaire' and offers excellent summer and autumn skiing.

WiFi is being installed for the winter of 2014-15 and is available for a small supplement. It includes access to the four UK iPlayers.

Ski: Val d'Isere and Tignes share what is probably one of the top five ski areas in Europe with a fantastic range of 200+ runs for everyone from beginner to expert serviced by 120 lifts. There is now a good choice of ski schools and this competition has certainly raised standards.

Tignes is the summer skiing capital of Europe but there are many other activities here and at Val d'Isere including golf, tennis, mountain biking, fishing, white water rafting, sailing, etc. Val d'Isere and Tignes are on the edge of the Vanoise National Park and only 40 miles from the Little St Bernard pass into Italy which makes a great day out.
