This rarely found 550sqm property offers two substantial homes and has some of the best views of the Costa del Sol. The property is located near Mijas village at the end of a private road. The main villa comprises of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (sleeps a total of 14), a large kitchen, utility room, lounge/dining room with fireplace, various, large open and covered terraces, garage and swimming pool. The master bedroom has a wraparound terrace with 360 degree views of the coast and the mountains. There is a separate apartment with three bedrooms, two bathrooms (sleeps a further 10), a fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room and games room. The apartment has its own entrance, terrace and parking so it is totally independently from the main house. The properties are situated in beautiful grounds with a mature garden and a children's play area. The garden makes an excellent venue for a special celebration or party.These properties are ideal for family or friends that want to holiday together.

We are originally from Lincoln UK but moved to Spain in 1999. We bought La Jacaranda as our family home and raised our boys there until they grew up and moved to various parts of the world. As the property is now too big for just the two of us we are offering our beautiful family home for others to enjoy what we have had for all these years. As we are resident in Spain we can share our experiences by offering our guests a personal touch and advice on just about anything to do with the area and visiting Spain. Why Debbie Waby chose Mijas

We already had lived in Mijas for previous two years and wanted to stay in the area due to its peaceful location and friendly people. The original property was much smaller than it is now and was in need of some renovation. However as soon as we walked in to the original house and saw the views of the coast line we knew this was the place for us. Over the next few years we extended and renovated the house. We built the master bedroom and ensuite at the top of the house with wrap around terraces to maximise the view. We also built the adjoining apartment, initially as our offices but later converting them into a second family home for our son and his wife.

What makes this villa unique

We fell in love with the quiet tranquil position and the outstanding views. We viewed dozens of properties and none could compare to this one. The beauty is that there is a different view from every part of the property. You will fall in love with the place the way we did.

What an incredible villa...the pictures in no way do it justice. We stayed with a large party for just under a week and had our wedding on the sun terrace. Debbie was amazing from start to finish (as was Simon, her husband, and all of the people and places she recommended to us-from flowers to restaurants to our amazing caterer{Audrey} she couldn’t have done more for us as we planned, and celebrated, our most special day). We would recommend la jacaranda for medium to large family groups looking to chill out together, friends looking for a get together or people, like us, looking for a stunning location to hold a special event. Our only complaint is that we can’t go back and do it again. Awesome. Thank you Debbie!

Fantastic villa. Plenty of large terraces and places to relax. Wonderful views.

We booked this villa to celebrate my 50th birthday. The communication with Debbie the owner was first rate from the outset, ensuring a smooth and trouble free trip across and move into the villa. We were a party of 7 couples. The layout of the villa is perfect as although it enabled us all to celebrate or relax together, either on the numerous terraces or by the pool, the rooms were all offset so as to ensure we all also got some privacy.

The villa is excellently presented, and beautifully furnished and has all the amenities, appliances and everything we needed.

We had a fantastic week, we were all sorry to leave - and would strongly recommend this Villa.

We loved our stay there, we were 10 adults and 5 kids - plenty of room for everyone.

The hosts are absolutely lovely and helpful.

During the day time, the sun is shining on the pool side, and when it get's to dinner time, the sun is on the other side where the barbeque, garden and terrace is. You had the sun all day and we always ended up playing hide and seek in their big garden.

We would love to come again.

Stunning location, beautiful villa.

With the stunning location and the beautiful well laid out villa Our family group of 23 adults and children had a fabulous holiday at LaJacaranda. 5 minutes by taxi to Mijas 10 minutes to Fuengirola. The villa website is very detailed and helped us with recommendations for nearby restaurants.

Wonderful place to stay

Our party of 19 just returned from a fabulous week at La Jacaranda. The property is spacious, well equipped and comfortable for a large group with plenty of space for us all to spread out. Beautiful gardens, plenty of balconies and a nice pool. The owner, Simon, was very helpful and on hand to help us out at the drop of a hat. He very kindly drove into town on our last day to pick up some medicine for one of the children who had been sick and refused to take any payment. Very comforting to know you have that sort of support when in a foreign country with young children.

We ate out a few times in Mijas village and found the bus service to be very reliable and cheap - only 1.55 Euros per person into Mijas or Fuengirola. Would recommend The Secret Garden for dinner. The Mayan Monkey ice-cream/chocolate factory is great for kids - two of our children had birthdays so their parents paid for all the children (9!) to do the chocolate making tour. They loved it and we did too as it gave us free time to have a child-free G&T!

Mijas village is beautiful. Such lovely shops and views. The whole area has been pedestrianised and was finished while we were there. Can't recommend the area highly enough.

If you are looking for a laid back holiday for a large group of people close to amenities then La Jacaranda is for you. Car not necessary.

Only a 5 min drive away is one of of the jewels of the Costa del Sol, the beautiful little village of Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 428 meters above sea level. You can wander through the narrow cobbled streets or take the path around the edge of the village to experience the magnificent, breathtaking views. Many artists and writers have made it their home, enjoying the benefits of an excellent all year round climate, without being part of the busier, more commercial coastal towns just 7 kilometres down the mountain side. Despite its huge popularity with tourists, Mijas Pueblo has somehow managed to retain much of its traditional Andalucian way of life, the locals displaying their unabashed passion for all things festive and an unmistakable relaxed 'mañana' outlook on anything that can be put off for another day. Further afield you can enjoy all of the usual beach activities in Fuengirola or Benelmadena where you will find Sea Life, Selwo Dolphin Shows, Tivili world amusement park, Fuengirola Zoo to name a few. For the golfers there is a choice of over 30 golf courses which we can offer expert advice and bookings. We recommend to maximize your sightseeing and shopping experience that you hire a car but if not there is a regular bus service between Mijas and Fuengirola just a short 5 min walk away.
