3 bedroom areas, 2 bathrooms, comfortable modern living space,

The apartment, located in the popular savoyard village, Morzine, is in a great location just a short stroll to the Pleney lift or down to Super Morzine lift - often able to ski back to the apartment from Pleney. The apartment is an easy walking distance to numerous bars and restaurants yet quietly tucked away so you are not disturbed if you prefer a quiet evening. The full length windows over looking Pleney make the apartment light and provide lovely views. Newly refitted this year, the kitchen/dining area is modern and well equipped, opening on to the comfortable living area. The mezzanine offers great versatility either as an extremely large main double bedroom or to accommodate the younger members of the family together. The sofa area on the mezzanine also provides extra living space, allowing your group to spread out! The beds have high quality egyptian cotton bedding/towels, quality duvets and pillows.

There are DVD's and games for you to enjoy, along with satellite TV and free WiFi.

About Ali

Hi, although we bought this property only this year we have been staying in this building for over a decade and enjoying Morzine for even longer. Our girls spent many years ski racing around Europe but they have now 'hung up their race boots' and we have at last been able to find our own base in the mountains, which I invite you to enjoy too.

Why Ali chose Portes du Soleil area

The apartment is in a very 'sought after' area, being in the centre of Morzine, close to everything, yet on the Pleney side of the road giving you peace and quiet when you are ready to retire for the day! Morzine is a great village for friends and family to enjoy - many fantastic restaurants and bars, coffee shops and shopping 'opportunities.' It is a friendly, thriving place, just a short transfer from Geneva airport.

The accommodation is versatile and after years of renting apartments around Europe my main concerns were to provide a comfortable sofa and beds to sink into at the end of the day - let me know if you think I succeeded?!

Beautiful apartment in a great location in Morzine

This apartment is centrally located and includes a great view of the busy cable car, lift and landing site for the paragliding. Well appointed, clean, tidy and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great location, lovely apartment

We had a great 4 days / 5 nights at the apartment. Lovely views over the Pleney and a stones throw from town and the Pleney lifts. The accommodation is very pleasant ... warm, clean, spacious, well equipped and the perfect Morzine location. For those wanting to get to Avoriaz it's easy via the Pleney and other lifts but also via a shuttle bus which takes you to the Avoriaz cable car in 10 minutes. Ali is the perfect host ... always very helpful with any queries. Highly recommended.

Cosy Apartment - great location

We had a party of 5 adults stay in Feb 2016. A very cosy and warm apartment. Well equipped and very comfortable. Clean and tidy. Apartment is on the third floor. Thanks very much to Ali (Owner) who helped with all our requests.

Great location - very well located

Very nice appartment close to the Pleney.

Well accomodated and cosy; ideal for a group of 6 people.

Things that could be improved:

The cleaning before arrival

A coffee machine

A bit more pans to improve the cooking facilities

A connection to the french television ;-)

des vacances très agréables

L'appartement est très bien situé près de l'ascenseur Pléney. Nous y avons passé une semaine avec 6 adultes. Le logement est confortable, bien équipé et "cosy". Les lits sont de bonne qualité. Les magasins et les restaurants sont très proches. Ali nous a donné de bonnes informations à ces sujets.

Fantastic Apartment and location, a great find!

Seven us booked a long weekend away and we all agreed we would very happily return to Morzine and this apartment.

First bonus for a ski weekend was the resort was only a short 75-90 minute transfer away. (Private transfer - no car required)

Secondly the apartments location was excellent, a very short walk (300 metres) to the Pleney lift, ski hire shop (They store your skis & Boots), lift pass office, bars and restaurants. Everything couldn't have been easier to get too. But, the apartment is up a quiet side street overlooking the Pleney slope, so no noise was heard! (Only the snoring battles in the apartment)

The apartment was clean and modern, comfortable bedding and towels provided, Sky TV, Free Wi-fi, microwave etc - we were not short of anything.

The communication with the owner was excellent and nothing was an issue for them, even in resort we contacted them for extra bedding and it appeared straight away

Can't recommend this property highly enough, would definitely return when next in Morzine
