This beautiful, coastal home is perfect for a beach getaway with family or friends on Jekyll Island! The home features 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a loft TV area, two screened porches, and a downstairs master bedroom suite. Microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, 3 TVs, WIFI, gas grill. Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and coffee.
These items will not be replenished during your stay. BEDS: 2 King (downstairs),2 Queen (2nd floor). NO PETS, NO SMOKING. PARKING FOR 3 VEHICLES ONLY. Ocean Oaks has two private beach access points and a community pool. NOTE: Rental guests are not allowed to have pets in the cottage at any time. This doesn’t imply that the rental is a completely pet-free property. If our no pet or no smoking policy is broken, a $1000 fine will be charged to the card on file AND you will be asked to vacate the property without a refund.

Wonderful setting for colleagues to become friends

We had four couples staying at the house whose common bond was a professional group. With four private bedrooms and baths, additional upstairs sitting room, plus back and front porches, spacious kitchen dining room and living room, we had plenty of space to be both together as well as each have our private time and space when needed. The slight downside is that the houses are very close together so you can expect to hear and be heard when on your back porch. Not a problem for us, but for some that might be uncomfortable. The house was meticulously clean and lovely, and the short walk through beautiful maritime woods to the beautiful and essentially private beach was absolutely gorgeous. The pool is very close by and looked clean and inviting, but we didn't ever use it. Bike rentals are available from the hotel up the road within walking distance, so we had a wonderful time exploring nature paths up and down the island on the bikes where the speed and movement kept the mosquitoes off! We highly recommend the dolphin watch boat tour from up at the wharf. We all enjoyed that thoroughly, and biking around the streets and paths looking at the old mansions near the wharf where the tour originated was fascinating. All in all a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend this home for family time or time with good colleagues wanting an opportunity to bond and become friends.

Heaven at the beach

This property was perfect for our family of 8. The house was clean and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. Each bedroom has it’s on bath and the common area was spacious enough for dining and entertainment. The location to the beach was great. The house is very well stocked with everything you need - spices, dishes, storage containers, games, books, puzzles, etc. it had everything except for a pitcher. We loved our stay and will be back again.
