Spectacular modern villa designed by the renowned architecture firm ZERO and located on a very private part of Son Bou beach. With immense windows that let the Mediterranean light flood in, this property is truly state of the art. Accommodation is spread over three levels comprising ground floor at street level with a games area, ping pong table, storeroom and a bathroom with shower; First floor with double height living/dining room, modern American style fully equipped kitchen, a toilet, a laundry room and master bedroom with dressing room and en suite bathroom with glass walls. On the top floor are two additional double bedrooms with double beds, each with its own spectacularly designed, fully equipped en suite bathroom with glass partitions. The living room leads out on to the terrace and down to the large modern swimming pool with spectacular views of the beach. The house has all the amenities expected of a property of this calibre such as ducted air-conditioning throughout and internet. It is located on a quiet, used only be neighbours road, approximately 300m from a selection of excellent restaurants, 20km from the golf course and only 15km from the airport; A truly stunning contemporary style property.

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful area

Spectacular villa, our holiday was magical, thanks to the amazing views and the gorgeous swimming pool. The property was clean, modern and comfortable, home from home, we were thrilled on our arrival. It was well equipped and very peaceful, as it is on a no through road. A truly wonderful holiday in a great location, the beach is stunning and safe.

Haus mit Potential

Hier meine Bewertung in Stichpunkten:

Keine Übergabe, sondern Code für Schlüsseltresor.

Dieser stimmte aber nicht. Konnte nach Telefonat geklärt werden. Haus seit dem letzten Gast (Schätzungsweise 4-6 Monate) nicht mehr gereinigt. Überall Staub und totes Ungeziefer. Handtücher und Bettwäsche schmutzig und verschlissen. Kaffeemaschine noch voll Wasser und verschimmelt. Haben eine Kaffeemaschine gekauft und dort stehen lassen. Im Wäschetrockner noch stinkendes Wasser. Wenig Besteck und Gläser. Alte zum Teil schon sehr lange abgelaufene Lebensmittelin in den Schränken. Internet defekt. Riesiger Fernsehen, aber weder Satelittenschüssel noch Kabelfernsehen. Auf der Terrasse kein Esstisch und nur ein Sonnenschirm. Weißes Kunststoffmöbel unbequem und unpraktisch. Dafür aber ein sehr schöner Massagesessel im Wohnraum. Obere Schlafzimmer haben sehr schmale Betten. Diese aber mit direkter Aussicht auf die Toilettenschüssel. Muss man mögen. Pool sehr schön, aber nicht ungefährlich.

Vom Rand aus geht es direkt 3 Meter nach unten auf den Parkplatz. Für Kinder auf Grund der Treppen im Haus (2x20 steile Stufen ohne Handlauf) und des Pools nicht wirklich geeignet. Leider lässt die Reinigung und Instandhaltung sehr zu wünschen übrig.Verschiedene Mängel wurden schon während unseres Aufenthaltes abgearbeitet. Da wohl im Anschluss an unserem Aufenthalt die Eigentümer kamen, hoffe ich das auch die restlichen Mängel noch beseitigt werden.

Auf Grund der vielen Mängel wollte ich dem Haus nur 3 Sterne geben. Da sich Marta von Engel& Völkers jedoch sehr engagiert hat, denke ich dass da noch etwas passiert.

Ich hoffe dass die nächsten Gäste schon eine 5 Sterne Bewertung geben können.

Owner's Response: Dear Mr Wolfgang, Thank you once again for your comments. Although we didn´t announce that in the villa were neither the satelitte nor exterior dinning table and I think you found in the villa the fernitures you saw on the pictures before, we can understand that you expected some more details in the villa. We always appreciate the comments and as I promissed, we already bought one dinnig table for outside, one more umbrella, two more sundebs and we have satellite with german chanells now. The same, regarding the kitchen equippment. The incident with cleaning obvioulsy shouldn´t have occured and we are sorry about that but we sent somebody to make an extra cleaning inmediatelly. We can´t do anything about internet, although nowbody has never complained about the speed we can understand that you are used to a higher speed but unfortunatelly in Menorca not in every place we can have as good cover as in Peninsula. We have hired the highest possible in Son Bou speed. Thank you for you suggestions and I hope you had a nice holidays.
