Hello! My name is Lucia and I am the owner of the apartment La Casina. I also run other apartments in Florence and I am happy to do my best to offer a selection of great apartments to my guests to make the is stay unforgettable !!!
Ms. Lucia purchased this apartment in 2010
This was our fourteenth or fifteenth stay in Florence and we loved the apartment and the area. The apartment is very well presented and very comfortable. It is in a part of the city which is not tourist dominated but has its own bustle and life with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants and yet it is only 10 minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio in one direction or Santa Croce in another. From our point of view it has the advantage of being close to San Miniato and the Giardino delle Rose with some lovely walks along narrow lanes. Lucia was extremely helpful for instance in arranging a taxi to take us to the airport and was easily contactable. We would certainly use again.
This property is situated in a very lively spot. Plenty of places to eat. We stayed five nights and we didn't eat in the same place twice.
There was a bar just outside our property where you could eat drink and watch the world go by.
would recommend this apartment to anyone who didn't want to be in the midst of main tourist area.

We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. The apartment is nicely decorated, clean, spacious and perfectly situated. We have been traveling around Italy for two weeks, and this apartment, by far, has been our favorite. The neighborhood is very scenic, with many shops and trattorias. We were within walking distance to all of the major sights, including the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia and the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. Ms. Lucia was the perfect host. She was very friendly and accommodating. She met us at the apartment and spent time telling us about the neighborhood and how to get to specific places around Florence. She also arranged a taxi to take us to the airport at the end of our stay. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Florence again. It was the perfect place to stay!
Ms Lucia is a kind and attentive host who told us all that we needed to know and was then always on call should we need her help. Nothing much more thanto say "perfect" should we ever return to Florence we will be sure to book it again.
My only quibble and ths is nothing to do with Ms Luccia or her apartment but when I went on line to pay the balance which was E213 I was charged £238,88, at a time when a euro was worth c 85p, can someone at Owners Direct please explain why?
This is the second time we stay at one of Lucia's beautiful places. This apartment is very romantic, very clean, centrally located and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed walking to all the major attractions and exploring all the great restaurants and artisan shops that side of the river. Florence is an amazing place and Lucias's apartments made our stay very enjoyable. Lucia is a lovely lady who pays attention to details and responds quickly to emails. We will
Definitely come back.
The apartment was the perfect place from which to explore Florence. Everything was clean and ready to use. Felt extremely safe and comfortable. Would book again on a return trip
