Lovely apartment in great village
We were welcomed by lovely Caroline, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. We know Chatel well and were happy to find the apartment was situated in the middle of the village and within easy access to the Super Chatel lift, supermarket, shops and bars and restaurants. The village was certainly lively outside of half term, which was perfect both for us and our grown up children and their partners.
The apartment was perfect for our needs: spacious, attractive and spotlessly clean. The sitting area was cosy and the large table in the kitchen area easily accommodated all of us with room to spare. The kitchen appliances were modern and there was everything we needed to cook properly every night (although we never found a cheese grater). Bedrooms and bathrooms were modern and comfortable and there was plenty of hanging space, essential for hanging ski gear.
All in all we had a super stay, thank you. We would, however, have preferred the headline price to have included the cost of cleaning and linen, as is usual in the places we stay, to allow for easier price comparison.
