We had a great time relaxing and enjoying each other's company at this beautiful home. We enjoyed every part of our stay, from the very comfortable beds, kitchen facilities, spacious living/dining area, to the deck and fire pit. It far exceeded our expectations... spacious, but not "too big", open and comfortable. Easily accommodates 3 couples and can comfortably accommodate 8 people. Very nicely decorated and clean. Well equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very gracious with offering suggestions of things to do and pointing out unique features of the property. We enjoyed an evening bonfire, seeing the stars in the dark sky, having coffee on the screened-in porch in the early morning , walking along the beach and riding bike along the winding road. We're looking forward to future stays at this property and would recommend this property to our friends.
We are a group of retired women who were looking for a getaway. We gather every summer. Of all the places we have stayed, this home exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed with the amenities of the place, from the beautiful screened in porch and the fully equiped kitchen including the large dining table. We especially appreciated the open concept with a fully functional fireplace. The wifi was used by several of us Internet junkies. Any contact we had with the owners was timely, and we felt the price was reasonable.
This home is immaculate and features everything a family could want. It is beautifully maintained and includes all linens and towels. Snooze on the hammock, walk on the beach, play a game, sit on the porch and admire the view, the choice is yours. This place is a little bit of heaven.
This house was a perfect place for a family vacation; kid-friendly, easily accessible to other points of interest, comfortable, well maintained/decorated, and very peaceful/seculded. The owners provided us with a lot of good information on the house and area before coming which was very helpful and they also were extremely flexible with arrival/departure time--again very helpful especially when traveling with young kids. The only disappointments were the alewife fish washing up the shore (which we hear they do every year)--this prevented us from using the beach across the street and a random ant infestation in the upstairs bedroom, which was eaily remedied with a can of ant-killer. Sounds like they have not had that problem before, but other houses in the area were also experiencing it. Other than that---it was a great house and we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. We would surely come back again.
