Named after the stupendous uninterrupted views across the Sicilian countryside to the blue sea on the horizon, Villa Orizzonte Blu is superbly located near the magnificent Baroque city of Noto and some of the most attractive beaches on the island.
The villa itself is spacious and uncluttered both inside and out, giving it an airy, pleasant feel. Wooden beamed ceilings and natural stone walls blend well with a neutral colour scheme and classic contemporary furnishings, giving it a modern edge which is both comfortable and easy on the eye.
The four bedrooms have been styled for comfort and simplicity, each with a view of the countryside or sea and the master double bedroom even has its own dressing room. Designed for family holidays or groups of friends, there is a good choice of sitting areas both inside and out. Most opt to eat on the terrace and relax outside in the summer months.
Framed by unobtrusive natural vegetation, low trees and shrubbery, the terraces have been carefully landscaped to maximize the open views. The wide terrace with a covered dining area, an impressive stone table and separate sitting out area provides the setting for long summer meals and siestas. You can even make homemade pizzas from your own wood fired outdoor pizza oven.
Down a few steps from the dining terrace is the smooth pool terrace with its loungers and covered sitting area, just the place to cool off and unwind while soaking up the sun and views.

Just 15 minutes from the villa is the beautiful city of Noto, one of the highlights for anyone visiting the south eastern part of Sicily. If you prefer, you can head for the nearby beach at Calamosche, in itself a popular destination, albeit for very different reasons.
Noto itself was built out of the ruins of a devastating earthquake in 1693, and since then it has risen to become one of the finest Baroque cities in the area.
