Poplars Farmhouse is a wonderfully secluded 17th century cottage in the heart of the West Sussex countryside a short distance from famous West Wittering beach. Carefully refurbished this cottage has been designed to give you the feel of old world England with its exposed beams and large inglenook fireplace. Full of history this historic building is a mixture of the old house, the dairy and a barn all sympathetically converted to make one large home perfect for all the family.

The original house has a large kitchen, sitting room and dining room big enough for all the family and further along amongst the old dairy side of the house there is also another small kitchen, living and dining area should you need the extra space or just want a bit privacy when traveling in a large group. The kitchen in the main house comes fully equipped with AGA, electric cooker and huge fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and breadmaker.

CYCLING. The area has some attractive walk and cycle ways particularly near the harbour from Chichester to West Wittering also some byways for walkers and cyclists on the higher and more remote parts of the South Downs such as Monarchs Way or the South Downs Way. These are rewarding for their views of the Channel and the Isle of Wight and for their historical significance. Tumuli of 3500 BC and Second World War memorials to crashed British and German pilots can be found
Locally the newly completed cycle and walking path on the top of the dyke around Medmerry reserve is ideal for children being flat and safely accessible within less than a mile from Poplars on quiet local roads
