Thoughtfully designed Owl Cottage is a well presented sleeps 6 cottage in rural Itchenor. Set amongst glorious countryside you are only a short distance from Itchenor waterfront and the welcoming Ship Inn pub.
As you step into Owl Cottage you find yourself in a large living and dining area. With plenty of comfortable seating, large flat screen television, electric fire and a good selection of games it makes for an excellent spot to cosy up in the winter or push open the French doors, light up the room, and let the hot summer sunshine in. Owl Cottage has a small contained garden but still has ample space to sit out and enjoy a glass of something bubbly on the lawn or patio.
The kitchen, set off from the living area, is fully equipped with everything you will need to self-cater during your stay. The list includes dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, drinks cooler, microwave, cooker and all the utensils and pots and pans you will need to cook a special treat while you are on your hols !
Owl Cottage has one ground floor bedroom with a double bed and en-suite wet room shower. These rooms have been specifically designed for people with restricted mobility with doorways wide enough for a wheel chair to pass through. The ground floor does also have a separate WC for everybody else to use also.
Upstairs you will find the rest of the bedrooms along with a snug style landing with a comfy large bean bag and chair if you want to sneak off and find somewhere quiet to read a book. The first bedroom on your left is a twin bedroom and a little further along is a large double bedroom again in between these bedrooms is a large family bathroom.
Owl Cottage has plenty of room for parking and you can pull up next to the front door to unload.

Itchenor is a well-known sailing village close to famous West Wittering beach, which from Itchenor's pretty village centre it is only a two mile walk if you want avoid the traffic on a hot summer's day!
Between April and October Itchenor boasts a nifty little ferry service from the public jetty and this takes you across to Smugglers Lane in Bosham. It's a great way to see the picturesque villages from the waters view and you can easily explore Bosham without the need of a car. The village of Bosham has a selection of good local pubs, a small selection of shops and a tea room overlooking the waterfront. The Bosham Walk Art and Crafts Centre is well worth a visit, here you can pick up local hand crafted unique gifts and even watch local artists at work in their studios.
The beautiful and historic Cathedral city of Chichester is just short drive from the cottage; here you will find the famous Chichester Festival Theatre, plenty of high street stores, boutiques, cinema and much more. Chichester has a main train station with excellent travel links, for keen explorers you can hop on to get to Portsmouth, Arundel, Brighton and London with no train changes at all.
The famous Goodwood Estate lies just to the north of Chichester and is perhaps best known for its motor racing events, including the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival. The horse racing at Goodwood is also must on the social calendar, especially the annual Glorious Goodwood meeting. Visitors to the area can also enjoy a round of golf at at selection of great courses in the region.
