This sunny apartment with ramped access and lift is on the 2nd floor of a stunning building overlooking pool, landscaped gardens and Seve Ballasteros golf course beyond. The sea is a short walk away and mountains surround the lush valley. For those wanting to visit the new equestrian centre - it could not be closer as you will see from the photos and videos. The interior has 1 double bedroom, living / dining area with double sofa bed and totally equipped kitchen and bathroom. The apartment offers quality LCD TV, DVD and CD player for your entertainment. For the business minded there is the possibility of an email facility. There are 3 patio doors leading onto a large sunny balcony equipped with table, chairs and sun beds. The aspect is magnificent. We apologise if you find it hard to book during the high season as we are usually booked up a year in advance by regular clients. Oliva and surrounding area: Oliva is a medium sized market town where a market is staged in the Paseo each Friday morning. This you must not miss as the choice of fruit and veg is fantastic, with a wide range of other goods at bargain prices. You'll discover fruits that you have never seen before and impossible to buy here at home. If you are an olive lover - you will be in heaven. You'll find them with almonds inside, garlic cloves and even seafood. You can buy freshly made 'churros' - a sort of fritter which you can dip in chocolate or sugar. Lets just hope that you eat all you buy before its time to come home.

If you are planning your holiday in the summer months you will find small bars all along the beach called 'Chiringuitos' These are open all day and evening and have decked and shaded areas playing 'Cafe del mar' type music. It is very easy to visit one of these for a quick drink in the midday sun and then find you have spent a good part of the afternoon and evening there!

Fiestas and Carnivals: If you are planning your holiday in the month of July you may be lucky enough to experience the 3 days of celebration surrounding the 'Moors and Christians' fiesta.Once you have experienced this event you will want to return year after year. Many people plan their summer around this fiesta, including me! It is a truly wonderful event for everybody of every age and should not be missed, no matter what your religion. A word of warning - book early - accommodation is hard to find in fiesta week!

Relaxation: One thing that is immediately obvious when you visit this region is the 'manana' approach to life. Nothing is worth getting stressed about - and if it can be done tomorrow - then why not leave it until then! You will undoubtedly question the English way of life after your stay. In Britain we celebrate with fireworks once or twice a year, whereas here you will hear fireworks every day of the year. There is always something to celebrate!

It is impossible to get bored here, but should you find you need ideas - there is a tourist information office next to the indoor market in the paseo. If you are visiting the region to 'househunt', Oliva is a good central location and base to start your searches. If this is your first visit to Spain - I bet it won't be your last. Alicante airport has connections to most UK airports and there are a few companies that regularly offer discounted prices.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment sits right in front of the pool. Beyond is the golf course - and then the mountains. The new Oliva Nova Equestrian centre is only a stones throw to the rear - and the beach is just a walk down the road. What more do you need?

We just had a wonderful month in your apartment. We absolutely want to return next year if possible. We loved the area, the beach, the food and the culture.

We left it all in perfect and cleaned situation. Only one little accident happened... A bottle fell on the floor (between the dining table and the cabinet) and much to our surprise the bottle stayed intact but it left a little ditch of the tile floor. I made two pictures of it to show you. I will send them as soon as we are in Holland. (now we are still in France)

So we'll be in contact.

stunning views relaxing holiday

stayed for one week, arrived really late and met by Julie who was lovely. apartment is in a quiet location but perfect for us. has quite large living area which was clean and tidy with a wonderful large balcony where we spent most of our evenings. The pool area was lovely. Thank you Graham.

Great location, Immaculate Property.

The apartment is immaculately kept with everything you could want. Lots of books and DVD's, beach towels etc. Lovely view of the mountains and pool. Local beach is fab and only a short walk. Good size balcony for evening sun and outdoor eating. Only a short drive for days out in Javea and Denia...Denia is especially recommended for evening drinks and dinner..huge choice of restaurants. I have read the comments from Pat and Carol and I have to say 'WHAT A RIDICULOUS REVIEW' I quote..'The owners things everywhere?' Things for you to use whilst your staying!!!

After 10 years of renting through Owners Direct this is by far the worst we have stayed in.Left after 3 days of our week as could not stand the dirty,unsafe conditions anymore.Bare wires on lamps,no light in bathroom,no plug in sink,sofa absolutely filthy and torn.Owners things left all over the place leaving hardly any room for our clothes or possessions. Internet advertised but not there or offered.When we complained it took almost 3 months to get our deposit back.Give this place a wide berth

Owner's Response: Every now and again in life someone has a change in circumstances - and I think this is what these clients had. I have had many reviews over the years and you can see from the reviews that the apartment is consistently in good order with new items being added each year to make the holiday better. These particular clients left without any contact with myself at all. If something had been wrong I would have gone out of my way to put the situation right. I have recommended these people stay in an english based hotel in the future where the internet is freely available, fried breakfast, English speaking people and sky television. Foreign holidays are just not for them! I have never had a person complain or leave in this fashion in 10 years! Why is it that the same customers come back year after year when the apartment is apparently so bad? You decide!

hello

we have a pleasant holiday in Oliva.

the apartment is very well organized, beautiful balcony with a beautiful view.

It was nice also to have the pool and the kids loved the sea so close.

the beaches are huge and clean.

we will return with pleasure at home.

Apartments 'Vistas Golf' are situated between the Oliva Nova Golf and Beach Resort to the north and San Fernando Beach Resort to the East. A short walk from the apartment leads you onto the miles of unspoilt fine white sandy beaches and dunes where you will find beach bars in the summer months. For those who like walking the blue flag beach extends all the way to Denia. For those visiting the equestrian centre - it is but a stones throw away. Many leisure activities are available from this location including Golf, Tennis, Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Walking, Climbing and the new equestrian centre. The medieval town of Oliva sits within luscious citrus groves where pomegranates, almonds, oranges and lemons grow wildly. An hours drive to the north will take you to the charming city of Valencia and a half hour to the south you will find bustling Calpe or Benidorm where the kids can experience Aqualandia water park or the Terra Mitica theme park. Both Alicante and Valencia airports are just an hour away, with motorway access in both direction and train services to both Gandia and Denia.

Notes:
The apartment block is stunningly beautiful and is unlike anything in the locality. There is nothing but wide open expanse in front of the large sunny balcony. The apartment is fitted with quality furniture and equipment to compliment the building. All is truly elegant. You have views of the golf course and mountains to the front of the building and to the rear you have the equestrian centre which is a stones throw away. Understanding the need for email communication and/or internet access we are working towards installing a computer for the next season which would be available on a price per week basis. Speak with the owner if you require this in order to guarantee this service.
