Was perfect for our trip!!

We ended our 2 week trip through Europe at this London flat. The washer/dryer was a incredible bonus as we were running thin on clean clothes.Our 8 and 12 year old slept comfortably on the pull out couch. There is a grocery store close by and is open late! With only about a 7 minute walk to the South Kensington tube station we could get anywhere in London. The flat was very quiet and has staff at the front desk 24 hours a day. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, comfortable apartment

Nell Gwynn House is easily walkable to a range of tourist sites in London, as well as restaurants and shops, and very convenient for bus and underground services. The staff were helpful and responsive to our questions. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay - we particularly liked having the bath after a long day walking around the sites! The wifi was also good, slowish but reliable. The in-room clothes washer/dryer was also appreciated, as was the hairdryer.

The studio apartment was ideal for a couple, but would be cramped if the sofa bed was being used. The bed is a standard double, which may be small for some.

One set of bathroom amenities was provided for our 8 night stay, but no dishwashing liquid. While one change of bedding/towels is provided each week, we’d suggest that this occur halfway through your stay (eg: day 4 of an 8 night stay), instead of after 7 days - it seemed odd to get everything changed the morning before we left. But these are minor points, overall we’d definitely recommend Nell Gwynn House.

Great Location

We had a nice stay at the Nell Gwynn House. Our studio was clean and comfortable. The entire property is clean and well maintained. Housekeeping tidied up our flat each morning which was an added plus. Having the kitchen helped us minimize eating out. The staff were both friendly and responsive....We had some minor issues that were addressed quickly. The building is a short walk to both the South Kennsington and Sloane Square undergrounds. The 360 bus stop is a minute away. Our studio faced Sloane Avenue which was a little noisy (nothing like Manhattan), but we adjusted quickly. Shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. We plan to stay here again.

Good location, very clean and well appointed kitchen, newly painted, small but what you would expect for a studio. Concierge vey helpful.... only problem there was a construction site next door that started work at 8am so no sleeping in!

South Kensington London Underground station is a few minutes walk from the apartments. From here the Piccadilly Line will take you to the West End, Theatre Land and Covent Garden. Both South Kensington and Sloane Square provide access to the Circle and District Lines. From here you are a couple of stops from Westminster and the Houses of Parliament. A few more stops and you’re at the the Tower of London. Carry on and you are in the ‘square mile’ - the heart of London’s business district. Victoria British Rail station is two stops away and from there you can get to Gatwick airport in half an hour. Heathrow airport is just 13 miles from the apartments - a 45 minute taxi journey. And there’s the famous red London buses and black cabs which will get you just about anywhere you want to go
